Perfect!
This is the perfect cookbook for the young chef on your list. My grandson is 10 and he can read and follow along these pretty easy recipes. It's great for beginners! It was exactly what I was looking for!

Great Quality
This is a great book for beginners. It does not have a lot of actual cooking. The pictures are great.

Great recipe book for kids
I was looking for something unique for my 10 yr old granddaughter's birthday and found this cookbook. It was a hit! It is well organized with lots of precooking information and instructions for the beginning chef, fun, easy, delicious recipes, and the illustrations are beautiful. My granddaughter loved it and was immediately looking through recipes to make with her sister and parents. It is a great gift for that child who is in between childish toys and teen electronics and accessories. And it is a gift that will get the family involved in something together rather than everyone staring at a screen by themselves!

Perfect Cookbook for Young Chefs
Purchased for my 11 yo grandson as a gift for Christmas. He's getting interested in cooking and likes to eat home cooking rather than fast food. Go figure! I can't wait for him to give some of the recipes a try. The illustrations and how to instructions are perfect!

We’ve used this cookbook a few times now and overall it has been a nice addition to the kitchen. The layout is very clear, the recipes are simple to follow, and the pictures are bright and engaging, which makes it especially appealing for young children. So far we’ve baked cookies and brownies from it, and both turned out really well. My daughter enjoyed being part of the process, and I think the way the instructions are written makes it easy for kids to join in without getting overwhelmed. It’s not the most comprehensive cookbook — there are more detailed ones out there — but for introducing children to baking and getting them excited about helping in the kitchen, it works really well. The quality of the book is good, the photos are high resolution, and the recipes feel accessible. If you’re looking for a first cookbook to get kids involved, this is a solid choice.

My 10 year of daughter loves this book and uses it often, especially when her friends come over. The recipes are well-explained, easy to follow, and fun for kids. Some ingredients are more common in the U.S., but we’ve had no problem finding substitutes. Overall, a great cookbook that keeps her excited about cooking!

Could not be happier with this purchase. My 11 year old has cooked 3 meals so far which she was able to do mostly on her own, enjoyed cooking and the whole family loved eating them! This really is a thoughtfully compiled book, really easy to follow and not just the same boring things in every other kids cookbook. Also loads of plant based meals which for me is another huge plus - more veggies in my kids is always a good thing. One of the recipes had my 9 year old saying this ZUCCHINI is delicious! (Words I never thought I would hear uttered)
