A color mixers dream
I replaced an older palette with this one and couldn't be more pleased. It is very strong and the 32 wells are plenty and more for every color you can imagine. I know that fewer colors is better, but I like having all the beautiful colors at my disposal so I can let my imagination go with my watercolor. I like that you can have many mixes and colors going at once, as the surface of the cover has no boundaries. The palette is divided into three sections. Just remember that it is large, so it won't work well if you are squeezed into a tiny space or don't have a good place for it if you paint plein aire.I highly recommend this product.

Perfect
I purchased this for functionality. I like that the wells are separated and give enough room for mixing watercolors. Would buy again.

Great size.
Bought this for my evening community education watercolor class. It held my masking tape, paint and brushes on the way to class, and the palette was nice and big when mixing colors. Another student actually asked where I got it as she wanted to get one too!

Cheap plastic
This is pretty cheap plastic so don't expect it to last long. The lid fits on it but it leaks so be careful if taking to classes. The biggest problem is there are round indention holes in the mixing areas and in most of the wells. There doesn't seem to be a reason for them to be in those spots. It's annoying especially with so many in the center mixing area. I emailed Masterson to see what they say about them. The good is it has a lot of wells so I can set out many colors and the size is good for my table.I emailed Masterson about the divots in the plastic. They answered right away. Here's what they had to say: "The divots in the wells are just from the mold the product is made in. All of our boxes are injection molded and that is just a part of the mold. It will not affect the use of the box at all."

Great quality
Nice surface for mixing watercolors. Plenty of wells. Stronger pigments slightly discolor plastic, but the cost beats porcelain so no biggie. Sturdy too.

Old Faithful! Getting another one!
I've had this box for years and use it exclusively to protect my oil paint palette. I keep my oil paints in the freezer, which keeps them from drying out and getting hard. I've never used the watercolor wells for anything. I'm buying a second one for another palette that will be keeping the old first one company in the freezer. The price is a bit high for what I use it for, but my oil paints are expensive, and worth saving. It works out in the end.I just made a mistake and bought the wet palette saver model! It's too large for my freezer compartment, and the lid is difficult to open and close. So will be returning it and buying this one.

Great except for the divots
This is a great palette except for the divots mentioned in another review. There are circular divots from the manufacturing in many of the watercolor wells and in the mixing trays in the middle. Paint and water tend to pool there which is rather annoying. Also, be aware that this is a large palette that is not practical for transporting to plein air sites or classes.
