Excellent product, just as described. Small, easy to carry, and great for home use. I use it with a Braun hand blender (500 W), and everything works perfectly! The product is not meant to be carried in a pocket. It’s small, yes, but ideal for a nightstand or kitchen. I believe it’s also good for travel, but as I said, it’s not that small to fit in a handbag or pocket.

Perfect for Iceland
If you’re going to Iceland it’s a necessity. Other converters will not work. It was perfect for keeping phones and camera batteries charged.

Worked great overseas for converting 220V to 110V
This worked great when I was overseas recently. Most of my devices use USB and my chargers already accept 220V, but I have a couple electronics that do need to step down to 110V. I had no problems whatsoever using this. NRTL certification is nice too. Edit 5/30/2025: The second time I went to use this, the converter shut off and it does not appear to be working at all. There's a small piece rattling inside, but it arrived that way -- it can't be opened up in any way. I'm guessing a small screw came loose and shorted part of it. Really disappointing :( thankfully, I brought a backup converter for my hair trimmer.

Might not actually work with my hot air brush
After reading the one star reviews associated with this product, I have grave concerns about trying it with my hot air brush in Europe. The problem is that voltage isn't your only concern. There is also a frequency issue. As stated on a website that discussed this problem: "First is the issue with voltage. Europe is mostly 220 volt phase to neutral while NA is 120 volt phase to neutral and 240 volt split phase. Since most general use receptacles in NA are 120 volt, the use of a transformer is usually required. Most countertop transformers are poorly constructed and are not recommended for prolonged use. Second is the issue with frequency. Europe uses 50 Hz and NA uses 60 Hz. If the appliance had a motor, the change in frequency will cause the motor to spin faster ultimately causing the motor to overheat and decrease the lifespan of the motor drastically." Obviously, my concern is taking my North American device to Europe, not vice versa, but what I have experienced in the past with other converters is that the hair dryer will "work", but with considerably less power and the distinct sense that it is not doing the appliance any good. This is because since it is designed to run at 60 hz and I'm running it at 50 hz, the motor is not spinning nearly quickly enough so my dryer is putting out comparatively little air. I don't notice it with the heat, but with the force of the air. So, I think this device will easily handle the wattage, but it might still not be ideal because of the cycles issue. I can only answer this for sure after I've taken my trip, for which I think I'll bring a really cheap dryer along with my good one to see what happens. I certainly don't want to ruin an expensive appliance to find out my trust was misplaced.

Worthless
Tested with a grinder on 240v and it didn’t work, it just gave a red light. Useless, just get a normal transformer instead of this.

Worked well on all devices I tried.
Unlike some smaller units, this one worked well for low power and higher power devices. This unit does them all with a few exceptions. I tried it on a phone charger using the AC plug and the USB plug. I tried it on a hair dryer and a box fan. I also tried it on a few other low power devices using the AC plug and all worked well. The manufacture states that it is not for some hairdryers, rice cookers, or coffee makers. They state that it is good for electric toothbrushes, shavers, laptops, camera chargers, curling irons, hair dryers, etc. The only negative I see is that it is a little bigger than the less versatile devices. I measured the AC voltage out of the unit while powering a box fan and it read around 111 volts AC at all three speeds of the fan. This was great. I also looked at the AC output using an oscilloscope and the signal was a nice sine wave identical to the output of my house AC outlet.

worked great
This converter worked just as it says. We used it in Rome and in Athens without any issues.

Multi function except for laptops. Big in size. Perfect or traveler w/ hair dryer
Function-wise, it works as advertised, all the ports worked just fine with the various items I plugged in to test, there were no malfunctions or over heating issues. But be advised that the 2000w rating does not apply to the USB ports, which is only 35w on the USB-C, so this won't work as replacement power for laptops that require 65w. You could plug the laptop's power brick into the 110v plug on this and use the 2000w that way, but that kind of defeats the purpose if you have to bring the power brick anyway, which is already 110-220 switching. Also, this adaptor is not small, likely due to the wattage rating and a fan for heat dissipation, it is 4" x 4" and 2-1/4" thick. But since this device can replace a few smaller chargers and adaptors, and the 2000w rating is just right for hair dryers type of high wattage items, so although I can't recommend it for people who travel with laptops, it is perfect for people who travel with hair dryers.
