I work the gourmet cheese table at a grocery store. These handles are rounded. The length of them makes the grip when cutting cheese great. They screw together nicely and have a notch to hold the wire in place.

Very useful in cutting big blocks of cheese. Be very careful in NOT putting a kink in the wire because this will cause it to break easily at this spot.

It’s the perfect length that I needed. I have to cut a 40 lb block of cheddar and jack cheese everyday at work and this works great. I like that I have extra wires in case one breaks but it hasn’t happened yet.

I ordered the item, it was supposed to have handles included. It did not. The item is useless without the handles.

While that doesn't change my experience and assessment of the product, it does impress me with their post purchase customer care.+1 Star (New Rating: 3 of 5)ORIGINAL REVIEW:Even keeping the cutter pulled taught, the wire deformed/kinked after cutting through a small soft-cheese round. I even pre-scored the cut line with a sharp knife.Also, due to rather tight tolerances (on the wire loop ends), the handles can be a bit of a chore to add and remove.I have two additional wires as replacements but I'm not holding out much hope. Better a harp or wire cutter board if I need to cut wedges on a round. I laugh thinking about using this on a clay block as per the marketing on the item page.

Love the wire. I bought it to use at work for cutting 50 lb blocks of cheddar and Monterey jack cheese and it works like a dream. Came with replacement wires.
