So having a good engraving pen is a must. Especially one that is cordless, fast charging and can fit in your jean pockets for those secret flash designs…!!

I have been sitting on this review because on the one hand it’s a good basic engraver for jobs that do not require great precision or might be too big or not able to bring a wired rig to. On the other it’s not going to replace my larger tools and it’s missing some finer heads for more precise work. As such this is a good craft engraver or a great tool for marking serial numbers or names on things like plastic, or non hardened tools. This also makes a fun wood carver for adding names to camp log nameplate or crafts. I am not fond of the inner rechargeable battery. I prefer the battery to be built in but I guess this means you could possibly change the battery for another rechargeable one if the included one died. The tool came with everything you would need to carve and a small Allen wrench to swap out heads. I have so many I didn’t need to use the included one, but it’s there if you need it. It creates a rather strong vibration and some practice is required before diving in, but using a light hand it is possible to make up most non hardened surfaces. This is a vibration engraver, not a rotary one.

very good item, exactly as advertised, i tried it on wood and glass, they can engrave very beautifully. i recommend you to buy and try it.

It works but it gets hot really fast…maybe 10 seconds. It doesn’t tell you which direction the battery should go so that’s not good. It also has no indicator for the on/off button. Unless it’s running, you can’t tell if it’s turned on. The good part…I like the purple color and small size. I’ve only used it once so I’m not sure how well it will work over time. Overheating is a big problem though!! Update: I think this is a fair review and the sellers refunded my money because the engraver didn’t meet my expectations. I appreciate that they solved the issue so I’m giving them another star for that.
