These are great on flat surfaces but for wrapping around wires, they keep falling off.

Heat shrink tubing should not cost as much as it does, especially cartridges for label makers. This is a nice compromise between the dymo brand stuff, and using a sharpie on white heat shrink tubing. Works fine at a 2:1 shrink ratio, I use it for labeling cable, and also placing identification onto carabiners for house keys. On keyrings, I put a length of clear tubing over the printing to keep it from wearing off. Works like a charm!
