Great Paper, Well Executed!
I have an R.L. Allan, two different Crossway Heirloom Goatskin Bibles and have owned a Cambridge Wide Margin and Clarion Bible. I’ve come to expect a lot in a Bible having experience with premium Bibles. I’m impressed with the Crossway Wide Margin ESV in Top Grain Leather! The best points: The paper and print quality are fantastic! I’m not sure why photos seem to exaggerate the show through - the photos look like the paper is far less opaque than it is to the eye in person. I’d put this paper up against the Cambridge Wide Margin paper. The print is very crisp and the red lettering (which I don’t prefer) is dark and looks excellent. There is plenty of margin space for the thoughtful user. The layout in person is beautiful to behold. The top grain leather is satin-silky-smooth to the touch and quite pleasing. The Bible lays flat open in Genesis and Revelation out of the box.Areas of opportunity for improvement: Nothing wrong with the ribbons but they feel stiffer than my other Crossway Bibles. Nicer satin ribbons (and in crimson red) would have been a nice touch at probably no additional cost. A gilt line around the inside perimeter would look a lot nicer than the blank black leather when open. The border isn’t stitched.I am very pleased with my purchase. Honestly, I’ve been unlucky on some other Crossway Bibles having printing issues, so I flipped through every page of this Bible expecting to see one but I didn’t. This will be an excellent working man’s Bible for me. Compared to the high cost of a Cambridge Wide Margin, I suggest giving this serious consideration.

LOVE this bible!
I was looking for a bible that looks nice, and is easy to read from, for when I preach. I generally teach from the ESV also. When I ordered this, I was a little doubtful. Surely for the price it won't be all that great.Wrong! The cover FEELS nice, like a more expensive leather bound book. It's not too flashy though. The pages are not too thin, and the text is big enough in double columns (which I prefer) so I can read from it easily when in front of people.Seriously, for the price, I couldn't have chosen better. I'd recommend this bible for private or public reading. The margins are just wide enough for notes, but if you're a serious note scribbler (as I am) you may want to consider a journaling bible with wider margins and/or printed lines. That being said, the paper in this bible take highlighter and ink well, though I plan to keep mine un-scribbled as much as possible to keep it clear for reading. Also, it seems fairly durable. I plan to have this bible a very long time.

Easy to Read
Great print and margins. Words are easy to read and don’t show through the pages nearly as bad as some Bibles. Has a really nice cover too. This would make a nice gift. One doesn’t have to be old or have poor vision to benefit from the easy to read 11 point font.

Love this Bible!!
I purchased this for my husband who isn't very familiar with the books of the bible. His other bible had the indent tabs with abbreviated book names. It was hard enough for him to follow and find the books without knowing them and the abbreviations were wonky, small and not helpful.I purchased this wide margin bible to add the tabs to, and it is fantastic!I do want to echo other's reviews of the pages being stuck together... Literally, almost every, single page. But, I did read the reviews beforehand, so I wasn't too surprised and am not removing stars- lol.Praise God for His word being so available to us.

Great Bible with one flaw
Excellent Bible overall. The text is a really good size in an awesome font that is very easy on the eyes. The size of the Bible is great with an excellent margin for limited notes. The binding seems durable and allows the Bible to lay flat with is a must for me as a preacher. The marginal notes at the bottom of the page are easy to find and follow. This Bible has one flaw...the pages are stuck together. I mean literally every other page is stuck together and VERY difficult to separate. It has taken me HOURS to peal them apart page by page. The good news is once to odd this one time that are fine but I will take a ton of effort in the beginning. For me this is a budget bible having purchased it for about $35. I usually spend up to and over a for a good Bible. Just know you were warned it will take time to break it in.

Good looking Bible
I bought this bible to replace an old one I had for years. The outside leather like cover is beautiful. Fonts are nice and large for easy reading. Large margins for notes. Would recommend this bible to anyone looking to purchase.

Good quality
This is a very good quality ESV Bible. The print is large enough and I love the margins. You can use for notes, but also just makes the words look less jumbled. Recommend!
