Q: Do I have to have a humbucker guitar to use this or can I use this with a sigle coil guitar too?

The EBow works with any type of guitar- electric or acoustic, single coil or humbuckers. It used electro-magnetic pulses to make the strings produce sound, so as long as your strings are metallic, it makes no difference what type of pick ups you use.

Q: How is Ebow Plus different than regular Ebow?

The new E-Bow Plus has two modes. The regular mode and a new one that creates upper harmonic overtones.

Q: New ebow, i use labella strings, they are steel wound with a teflon coat. why won't it do anything at all?

I suspect the Teflon coating is what they call a dielectric material which is not energized by the light impulse. Electrons are not flowing thru coating prevents string from starting oscillation. Change string type to all steel

Q: When I put my ebow over my guitar string, no sound is coming! Am I missing something else? I have an electric guitar. Any ideas?

I tried mine on several guitars and basses....could not get sounds from any....maybe mine is broken. The website is useless, can not ask or contact them.
