Probably the best bang for you dollar
First impressions are really good with this shock. Impressive quality for the money. I have a 2010 GT Force Carbon Expert, and the original Fox RP23 finally completely blew out. I have a hard time justifying the cost and time to send the shock out for repair/rebuild. After lots of research for alternative shocks, I found someone who had mounted a different brand coil shock with positive results. Hard to know how well something might work on this suspension design especially given the stock shock has specific damping specs to work with the GT suspension design. This shock is the exact size spec of 190x51. You will need to shave down bushings and aluminum shafts to mount correctly, but no big deal. I was able to use the factory aluminum bushings at the swingarm after cutting down an aluminum tube to the correct length. With the factory air shock I always had a problem with too much sag, no matter how much air pressure within reason of course, and damping was just okay. With this coilover in place, it seems to be better suited for this setup. It feels tight and controlled, has a progressive feel which is good because the air shock would blow through it's stroke. I don't think you can find a better replacement for an older MTB at this price. I'll update once I get some saddle time on the trails. I also feel this will work better for my riding style...I like jumps, and airing out whenever possible. This shock is showing way more control than the stock Fox it replaced. If replacing a decent air shock, this coilover weighs considerably more, but I think it's performance will justify the weight panalty. I'll update when I have some good amount of saddle time with this shock. As a side note, I weight 165-170lbs, and the 550lb spring on this DNM is almost right on the money, if not right on the money, time will tell. The spring is also within fairly common sizing, so an aftermarket spring of your desired weight/liking shouldn't be an issue. Even if you need to buy a different spring to better suit your body weight, you'd still be in the $200 price range all in, which is a bargain! I might buy an aftermarket spring just for some weight savings, but honestly, I'm not too worried about it.

Excelente producto.
Excelente amortiguador, lo único que tendrían que mejorar es que uno pueda elegir el muelle dependiendo del peso de uno. Yo tengo 127 libras y este viene de 550 libras

Does not fit 2016 Kona Process 134
I really wanted to try this shock, as my riding style and the long rides/descents I was doing really required a piggyback shock. An enduro race was coming up with a primarily lift assisted downhill course and this was going to take my airshock's place. I unbolted my Monarch RL and found the first positive, the 8mm shock bolt fit using the provided DNM sleeve hardware. That was nice. It also looked like the piggyback would just barely clear the frame. Then I tried to fit the end of the shock (end near rebound dial) into my 134's linkage yoke/clevis, but it was no dice. It was too wide by only 1 or 2mm. I didn't feel like milling down each side to fit, or forcing it in, for numerous reasons (voiding the warranty for one). I also couldn't flip the shock around because the piggyback would be sticking out sideways. This was extremely disappointing after weeks of research and heartbreak trying to find a piggyback shock on a budget. I believe this would have fit the bill. It looked to be great quality shock, just let down by the classic amazon lack of size information. It would be nice if DNM provided the dimensions of the mounting locations. Or even update the width of the shocks damper end to match that of rockshox, fox, etc. The low speed rebound & compression dials appeared to operate correctly with the notch/detent that audibly clicked into place when rotated.Anyway, my Kona linkage is unique in that it doesn't use spacers to fit the shock end, perhaps other brands that use spacers between the shock would have been able to make use of this shock with a different width spacer. For me it wouldn't have worked without significant modification. YMMV.

Great Bang For The Buck
Needed a shock to replace a FOX RP3 that I had on my 2007 Yeti 575 ASR Long Travel. I gotta say this shock is far superior to my FOX RP3 air shock that I had on my bike. Rebound and compression adjustments works great. Bike feels a lot more planted when blasting through roots and rock gardens on the trail also feels much plusher than my FOX RP3 air shock. The only thing I had to do to install the shock is trim down the bushings that was included with the shock. Also I ended up replacing the spring with a FOX Steel 600x2.35. Just wanted something that was a bit more supportive for my riding style.

Good value at price, but don’t expect the world.
I like what you get for money, used on Ebike, don’t compare to fox it’s a budget item

No spanner included
Really nice shock, I’m a heavy rider (260 lbs) and this coil works way better than my air shocks that would bottom out easily. My only complaints are that it is definitely heavier than my old air shock, and they don’t provide a spanner so you can adjust the preload. I’m having to use a screw driver and hammer to adjust the collar.

Great budget 210mm rear coil shock.£135 at time of purchaseHeavy compared to an air shock but to be expected.Overall pleased with purchase.Fits great in frameI was aware of the mount size before I ordered and hoped to use original hardware from a fox float air shock, sadly not compatible but a visit to TF tuned.com for custom shock mount hardware to suit my Lapierre spicy 316 and got a 12mm x 19mm x 6mm for front and 12mm x 25.2mm x 6mm for rear (£25 each)DIY e-bike conversion
