We have purchased at least three of these in the last couple of years. The model looks great, very realistic, and we thought the metal body would be indicative of sturdiness. But no. The first model lasted six months or so before the long arm broke apart. The second model lasted only a few days before our 4-year-old broke where the arm attaches to the body. We're hoping this latest one lasts a little while. Also, the rubber tracks have the habit of coming off fairly frequently and if your child is like ours, getting lost. Such a pity for such a nice looking model.

My son loves this toy and never lets it out of his sight

This is good for a model on a desk or shelf, but not sturdy enough to handle kids. The tracks came off in about 10 minutes and are now lost in the play room.

Great product my son loves it! It is durable and made very well!! Would definitely recommend this to my friends. My hubby loves it.

I’m a little disappointed. My two year old is obsessed with excavators and it’s so hard to find construction toys that aren’t fully plastic. It’s way smaller than I thought. It’s not yellow but a brownish color. The boom and the scoop are not that easy to move and the rubber tracks keep coming off when my son plays with it.

So far, my 6 year old grandson has not had a problem with the tracks coming off like some of the other reviewer noted. He already has the front loader and is looking forward to getting the entire set.

Perfect for decoration

The tracks fall off constantly and it broke within hours of receiving it with just light play. These pointy pieces are a result of it breaking and it’s now unsafe.
