Humming in speaker tried a couple different mixers without success. Maybe it is caused by 50ft length cable. Not sure? Ukrainian Tried different cable and the humming stopped. It is definitely caused by cable.

The Elecan XLR male to 1/4" TRS male patch cord is a decent quality option when a patch of this sort is needed.I got this to add to my kit of cords and adapters for that occasional time when the male to male situation arises.The connectors are what I would consider average quality, although I'm not a fan of molded 1/4" plugs the construction should be fairly durable. The included 1/4" to 3.5MM adaptor is of solid construction and good quality however, I would never use a setup like that to plug into a 3.5MM jack. Too much stress on that connection. I have 1/4" to 3.5MM cables for that purpose which work much better.Doing a few tests on my mixer the cable was quiet and didn't produce any noise when moved about.The cable came with a few good quality Velcro cable ties as an added bonus.All in all a good adapter cord to have in one's kit for general purpose use.
