Mike's Mighty Good Craft Ramen, Spicy Pork Tonkotsu Ramen Soup, 2.4 Ounce (Pack of 7)

I really enjoy the flavors in the chicken ramen. It's a little skimpy on the servings, so I usually cook a noodle set from a 30 cent ramen with it. But some days it's not. I've been buying them for about a year now, and I can tell they changed the cooking process of the noodles over that time. They used to be thicker, and would take longer sitting to soften up. Now they are closer to, not as bad mind you, as 30 cent ramen. I would buy more of them at a time if they were cheaper. But for now, it's kinda just a simple cheap at home treat for myself.

I tried this ramen back in 2020 and when I run out of the flavors I have I reorder. I adore a lot of the flavors and how fast I can make this! (my boyfriend likes the cooking time too cause he can not cook but this ramen makes him feel like he is a chef once he puts green onions and an egg on top!) The noodles are not overly salty and have such a great flavor that pairs well with the broth which is thicker than any kind of quick ramen packet you can buy in the US that I have found. We have taken this camping here in Alaska and it is so good when the night gets cold around a fire! If you worry about the cost I say don't! This ramen is so well portioned for one person and it is so good!

Great flavor, easy prep. Noodles didn't absorb much flavor

My daughter and I love this brand of ramen for the unique, thicker noodles. The flavor packets are tasty, too (and hopefully packed with a little less of the “bad” stuff like flavorings vs seasonings). We eat these ramen as is, or make a “fancy” meal with carrots, seaweed, tofu, or whatever added in. We kept buying out our local health food store so we came here to stock up. When a stomach bug hit our household, this was the only thing kiddo would eat (cooked with chicken broth). What can we say…we like them!

Best richest tasting broth compared to other ramen soups.

I'll keep this short and sweet: * The noodles are too small, they get too soft and don't eat like traditional ramen or even cheap ramen. This is more like angel hair pasta. * The noodles come in a dried nest which is STUPID because when you pour in 2 cups of water to boil them, 50% of the noodles aren't even in the water, so you get unevenly cooked noodles * FLAVOR: Not bad, but definitely didn't detect even a hint of Tonkotsu flavor! Spice level was good but it was like a spicy, bland broth. * PRICE: Too high. I bought and paid the high price HOPING it would knock my socks off, and I was completely underwhelmed. I get better ramen from many of the brands I buy at H-Mart for $1.25-150 each. In the end, I wasn't a fan of the thin noodles and broth with no trace of Tonkotsu that I could taste, so definitely not worth the premium price.

Based on other reviews I decided to try Mike’s Mighty Good craft ramen, THE FRIED GARLIC CHICKEN FLAVOR. It did not taste like Garlic nor Chicken! This has very little flavor, and there are no vegetables in it, even though the pictures show them all with them. I ALSO ADDED OTHER FRESH VEGGIES TO IMPROVE THE TASTE, BUT IT DID NOT IMPROVE THE FLAVOR! Cooked it exactly as specified on package, and the ramen noodles were tough and chewy, and stuck together. I found the flavor to be bland and unappealing. I did not like the texture of the noodles. The portion size was barely four or five bites, VERY SMALL PORTIONS. I added a 2nd packet to see if this would improve the experience, and it did not deliver! I won’t be buying these again. Save your money and buy a quality product! Ridiculous for the amount of money they charge for this. It was a waste of my money.
