I received mine in January 2022 and they expire in January 2025...

Are they the typical 26.5 mm diameter?

Not sure where you got 26.5mm from but 12-gauge converted to mm is 18.53mm so I would say no best bet get a 12-gauge flair gun or if hunting they will work in a shot gun sadly I've had to do it when friend broke leg while hunting nd couldn't get him out ALONE
