When I started shaving around fifty years ago, I went out and bought a Gillette Safety Razor, the same thing that my father used. Eventually, I moved on to a Gillette Trac II, then a Mach 3. About twenty years ago I bought a Gillette Fusion. Recently my twenty-year-old Fusion razor was starting to look a tad worn. I was low on cartridges, so it was a good time to decide whether to buy another Fusion razor, or move to the latest and greatest Gillette offering, "Gillette Labs." I'm currently sixty-six, this is likely the last time that I'm going to need a new razor. I bought two. One with a stand, for daily use, and this one with a case. My wife and I travel a good bit, so keeping one packed makes sense. I just got back from my first trip, where I used this razor daily. It is more comfortable than the Fusion was. By the way, I'm bald and shave my entire head every day. I've been shaving my head since 2008.
