I read the reviews and have to agree. After using the mattress for over a couple weeks, it proved its worth thus far. Surprisingly comfortable for something so flat, and not like the common sized spring mattress. I got a twin, which fits my old twin sheets just fine. I wonder sometimes if it’s slightly wider than my last spring mattress that I’ve had for over 30 years. Not sure though.Interestingly, I had back pain the first night of using. Maybe because I crashed asleep for almost 12 hours (insomnia kinda being an issue time to time). I sleep with this mattress on hard wood floors too. But after the first night, I haven’t had any lower back pain all the way up to today. My bf even noticed how comfortable it was after napping a couple times! Price seems fair, considering the quality of sleep! I’ll be going Japanese from this point on, i believe.I hope over time, it retains its shape after a couple years of use. Knowing that no should use the same mattress for over 30 :)

Amazing how well this futon is the modern incarnation from older, heavy, bulky, & potentially lumpy filling of much thicker futons. THIS, has none of those faults or problems ! It's light-weight for its size & is extremely comfortable. I have mine on top of a bed stand, & on top of an older futon used as a pad against the metal frame. It's perfect for sleeping, b/c there is not one noticeable problem. It's like floating, actually. It's a miracle-mat ! Great value ! Thank you so much ! 💖

Too soft for my application, well made though, not easy to fold up. Returning

thick and supportive for a floor futon, and very convenient to roll up and store. Quality feels solid, and it does the job well enough for guests or short stays.
