Better once I got used to them, but not sure they will replace my straps
I recently gave the DMoose Crossfit Grips a go to see how they'd fare in my weightlifting routine. Here's my experience:First off, let's talk about the build quality. These grips are well-made and durable, designed to withstand heavy use. That gives me confidence that they're going to last, which is always a good thing. They also provide decent wrist support, which is crucial when you're lifting heavy weights. However, the grips did take some getting used to. Initially, I struggled to get a secure grip, which made me a bit hesitant to go full throttle during deadlifts and other heavy lifts. It took a few sessions to feel more comfortable.Even though they started to grow on me, I'm not entirely convinced that they'll replace my traditional lifting straps just yet. I've been using straps for a while, and they give me the grip I need without any adjustment period. The DMoose grips, while good, still left me questioning if they offered a significant advantage over my trusted straps.Overall, they're a good addition to my gym gear, but I'm not sure they'll become a mainstay just yet. I'd rate them 4/5. If you're willing to invest the time to get used to them, they could be a useful tool for enhancing your lifts. But if you're already happy with your current setup, you might find the adjustment period a bit off-putting.

It is too thick for me
The product quality seems excellent, but I do not feel comfortable. It is too thick for me. Then I gave the item to one of my friends who does heavy lifting, and he liked them a lot.

Great
These are great gloves for lifting that not only give you more grip on the bar, but also prevent calluses from forming on your hands. Would recommend!

Great!
These CrossFit Grips have become my secret weapon for tackling intense workouts. They provide rock-solid wrist support, eliminating any worries about strain or fatigue, even during heavy deadlifts. The textured surface gives me a non-slip grip, boosting my confidence in pull-ups and muscle-ups. Plus, the breathable material keeps my hands comfortable and sweat-free. These grips have helped me push my limits and achieve new personal bests. If you're serious about CrossFit, these grips are a must-have.

Material is too stiff and does not allow a secure grip like leather.
**Update**The seller of this product reached out to me through the proper Amazon channel and offered a refund. I was not asked to modify my initial review in return. This is good customer service on the part of the seller.****Tried these out today for my normal back session. I typically use grips from a different brand for weighted pull ups and for BB rows or machine rows so am familiar on how to use these on pulling exercises. I would use straps for heavier work.At first glance these looked promising. They are on the chunky side, both the wrist strapping and the gripping pad that extends to the palm. The wrist strap includes padding for comfort and the Velcro allowed a secure fit to my wrist and it does feel extremely supportive. I liked how there is a good size chunk removed from the lifting pad for your thumb which the other brand I use didn’t get quite right. However, I found these very difficult to get on with. The main problem lies in the material the lifting pad is made out of. The material is too thick and stiff. I wasn’t able to wrap the pad around the pull up bar without using my other hand to manipulate it. That simply doesn’t work because then your hand is secure and you have no hands free to secure your other hand. Furthermore, if you use it in the alternate, less secure way with the pad flush to your palm and grip like normal the material itself doesn’t provide much grip. Especially if the machine/bar you are using has a plastic/rubber gripping area. Even using this for barbell rows, you simply cannot wrap the pad around the bar with one hand due to the stiffness. You end up trying to use your foot to get it in position once one hand is secure. It's far too difficult to wrap it around the bar, tuck under itself and then tighten. Even with one hand securely attached it still doesn’t mould to the bar and your hand like a normal piece of ‘flappy’ leather does.I can’t speak to other uses but for standard pulling exercises my grip was more secure on its own rather than trying to use this.

For specific exercises only
●I used them in the gym for pull ups and it really helps a lot, good protection for my palms, support for wrists and an incredible firm and secure grip if used properly. Also perfect for deadlifts but only for mixed grip in my opinion.●tried to do some free wheight exercises with the grips on but they are not comfortable and doesn't help, especially on dumbbells, as the bars roll off hand because the palm support is too thick, better without or with long lifting straps that can wrap around the bar●the grips seems to be quite good quality and well made, definitely gonna last for ages but it has a strong petrol or diesel smell and even after I washed my hands the smell was still there for a while. The smell will diminish in time eventually but this gona take a while.Generally good quality crossfit grips but only for particular exercises. The price is average.
