This light is the best small ultraviolet light source that I have encountered. It's small, extremely powerful at the highest setting and has the ability to be dimmed down to the brightness that suits the task at hand. It goes forever on a good 18650 battery and is extremely well made. It will open a world of hidden things that are only visible in the UV spectrum, like security features on driver's licenses and credit cards. Detect cat or rodent urine stains that are invisible to the naked eye. Lots of other uses like gemology, which is what it was originally designed for. I love mine!

This UV flashlight is the best one I've bought from Amazon. I've bought 3 or 4 and use them not only to identify flourescence in minerals but also to harden UV Epoxy. This UV Flashlight has a super feature of a dimmer making it very useful.

Great UV light. Battery included would have been better!

I received this product unknowingly without Batteries, probably personal default because maybe I missed where it said batteries not included. I tried some vape batteries that are exactly what the specs says, but it's still not working. I ordered some more batteries based off of my products listing and will receive them in two days. When they arrive and I get to use this product I will gladly change my rating on this product.

For a $60 light with no battery, it could be better. It does not illuminate minerals in the way I had hoped. It can illuminate only the gem quality areas on rough stones, but not well. I suppose this is better for seeing impurities/inclusions in cut gems.I am returning mine.

The knob is a little hard to turn, otherwise good product.

Take it from me this light is not worth the price. I’ve had it for years and although it’s a decent UV light there’s really nothing special about it. I have about four handheld’s and this is not one that’s in my normal rotation. I use them mainly for minerals and UV curing glue. I basically splurged on this one because it seemed like it would be a stand out above the rest based on the company and the price. I can tell you it’s really not. Probably the best feature is the fact that you can actually control how bright the UV light is. This is nice when you’re looking at minerals and can be quite handy. Otherwise there’s nothing that sets it apart from everything else. For the price, it should probably have a basic LED light included. It comes with a nice carrying case, but it’s totally unnecessary and doesn’t justify how grossly it’s overpriced. I just got another one in the mail from temu it’s considerably brighter much smaller and cost me six dollars lol. Don’t believe the hype you don’t need to spend $60 on a UV light.
