For lifting straps, I feel like I haven't come across a product that I really considered as close to perfect until this one. The comfort is there, the grip is there, and the durability is as well. In terms of comfort, getting the proper sizing is really important---and this is something I think the listings really do poorly, because even though the product description FOR SOME SIZES does technically denote the wrist circumference, I think an image with the sizing description would really help especially in giving additional details. This is something the packaging does a bit better, where it writes down the adequate sizes if using a tape measurer (XS up to 6", SM 6-7", R/L 7-8"), it also has a bar chart you can line up your wrist over and see where it falls between--with the additional detail of "if you are on the line, size up". I think this applies well to the circumference too--if you measure 7" wrist circumference you are better off sizing up. For those that only have a ruler on hand, here are the measurements: XS up to 5cm, SM from 5-5.9cm, R/L from 5.9cm to 7.1cm. Having had the opportunity to try all the sizes, I can affirmatively say that sizing up makes wonders in the comfort. I happen to be exactly between two sizes and while the smaller size does fit, the padding feels a little firm and overall uncomfortable when applying heavier weights. On a larger and looser fit, the padding can slide a little higher on my wrist, resting on the base of my hand and the padding actually feels as if it were a much softer material... well padded and comfortable! The grip material is really amazing as well. It is a double layer of a vinyl feeling type of material and gives some good comfort against knurled and smooth bars alike, grips without slippage at all, and thus far hasn't worn out which is impressive. I am definitely able to pull heavier weights than my hands normally would comfortably grip. The design does have a little thicker piece at the very end of the strap to help with ergonomic grips too, be it in push or pull mode. Per Versa Gripps, these aren't even their most beefy model but I think for most people other than the most intense power lifters, this is more than adequate enough. Now there are just two little points I find could be a bit of an issue when considering whether or not to buy these: First, the marketing. Yes, these are marketed to women almost exclusively, and the fact that most colors other than the black ones are more feminine colors shows this. This peach bellini color is mostly a light pink on a hue closer to orange, and it's really cute for sure. I think it's fine that it isn't a unisex color. The packaging and listing pictures also all show that they are for female athletes. Why! Unfortunately I do not have the Versa Gripp Pro (as opposed to these Fit Pro) to know if there are other shape/ergonomic differences between the two that are visually near identical, but those come in smaller sizes too (and larger of course) and are a few bucks cheaper... making these feel like a bit of a pink tax. Regardless, even if you're a man and your wrist size fits these sizes, this is still going to work for you. And the second point is the price. The brand itself is on the pricier side and the Pro series in particular. But considering it is made in the USA and with great fit/finish, really durable materials and comfortable performance to boot, it's an expensive investment for a wrist strap but justifiable in my opinion. I think another important takeaway is that despite the high price, as far as I can observe these Canadian prices are actually just the US MSRP converted to CAD, so we're not getting a disadvantageous pricing on this side of the border. Overall, what do I think of these? Expensive, but from every aspect in using it all I can say is "but wow, I get it".

Even though they're (very midly) pink and they say women on the package, they actually fit my hands alright although I did get it for the wife to use for comfort. Getting them on and off is fast and easy enough, I think a really strong velcro would have done the job fine and made things even faster but the strap system is undoubtedly more secure. The construction and materials quality is really good, as it really should be given the relatively high price for what this is at the end of the day. I expected the actual padded part that covers the palm would be bulkier and get in the way at least somewhat but it really doesn't, and it has just enough of a padding. A lower price would have been ideal, but as it stands I get the impression that they will last pretty much forever if used properly.

Versa Grips are well known for producing high quality grips in the weightlifting/bodybuilding world. Having used various grips and straps these are the key points about the Versa grips. Positives (1) The overall build quality is excellent. Different materials are used for separate parts of the grip and the selection of these has been well thought through (mostly). The strap itself is a synthetic material with no stretch, the Velcro fastening provides holds under load and the padding is in the right place. Overall this provides a secure connection to your wrist and isn't too uncomfortable with heavy loads. Some discomfort is always expected. (2) The pad that goes across your palm is very cleverly designed and lower budget options miss this key element. The shape means that a section is cut out on the thumb side of the grip while the other side is straight which helps keep the pad flat against the bar and improves grip security. Cheaper options usually just have a long piece of material with no consideration of shape. (3) The pad is made of a plastic/rubber material which maintains good friction with a barbell. It's not the most flexible and takes a bit of getting used to. (4) When used properly it does allow you to lift more if grip is your limiting factor and if it isn't it lets you focus more on the pulling muscles as opposed to just holding onto the bar. If you've never used a grip it's a real game changer on back training. (5) Product looks like the images e.g. colour. Negatives (1) The obvious one, they're not cheap. (2) I've found that while the material is very good at gripping a barbell or knurled metal, it's not so good against plastic/rubber on some equipment e.g. pull up bars (that aren't metal), lat pull down etc. The grip is also reduced if they get wet with sweat etc...wipe before use. Neutral (1) They're not a replacement for straps on very heavy loads. (2) Unlike some other grips, there's not enough material on the pad to fully wrap around a barbell, pull up bar etc and lock under itself to self tighten. Works more like a hook. This is down to personal preference as to which you prefer.

[PRODUCT EXPERIENCE] ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 👉 Versa Gripps® Fit Pro Wrist Straps for Female Athlete sold for 114.81$ at the time of this purchase. I was impressed at first with the stylish look and the color I received was an unexpected surprise, purple which I love. Secondly, the quality of the material and the cushion built in for extra comfort when lifting heavy weights provides protection for not only your wrist but also protects your hands from forming calyces. It provides a non-slip, sturdy grip and makes your workout safer and more impactful. Perfect for strength training.

**What I Loved:** * **Superior Grip and Support:** The standout feature is undoubtedly the exceptional grip. The material is incredibly sticky, locking onto the bar and minimizing grip fatigue. This allows you to focus on the target muscle and push through heavier sets, especially on exercises like deadlifts, pull-ups, and rows. The wrist support is also excellent, stabilizing the joint and reducing strain. * **Specifically Designed for Women:** The XS size is a game-changer. Many generic straps are too bulky for smaller wrists, leading to discomfort and inefficiency. The Fit Pro XS is perfectly proportioned, providing a secure and comfortable fit without restricting movement. This tailored fit is a huge advantage. * **High-Quality Construction (Made in the USA):** The 'Made in the USA' label inspires confidence in the quality and durability of these grips. The materials feel premium, the stitching is robust, and they're clearly built to withstand the rigors of intense training. You can tell these are an investment that will last. * **Peach Bellini Color:** While functionality is paramount, the Peach Bellini color is a fun and stylish bonus. It's a refreshing alternative to the standard black and adds a touch of personality to your gym gear. * **Quick Release and Ease of Use:** The extended grip design allows for a quick and easy release from the bar, which is crucial during heavy sets or when working with a spotter. The transition between exercises is seamless. * **Versatility:** These grips aren't just for weightlifting. They're suitable for a wide range of exercises, including CrossFit, powerlifting, bodybuilding, and even some calisthenics. **Potential Drawbacks:** * **Price Point:** Versa Gripps are definitely an investment. They are more expensive than basic lifting straps. However, considering the quality, durability, and performance benefits, it's arguably a worthwhile investment for serious athletes. * **Learning Curve:** There's a slight learning curve to getting the grip positioned correctly on the bar. It might take a few sessions to find the sweet spot for optimal grip and comfort. **Overall:** The Versa Gripps® Fit Pro in Peach Bellini (XS) are a fantastic training tool for female athletes looking to improve their grip strength, increase their lifting capacity, and protect their wrists. The tailored fit, superior grip, and high-quality construction make them a top-tier choice. While they're an investment, the performance benefits and long-term durability make them a worthwhile addition to any serious lifter's gym bag. If you're a woman who's serious about strength training, these are definitely worth considering. Highly recommended! **Rating: 5 Stars**
