The GEL-RESOLUTION® X tennis shoe creates advanced comfort for players who like to control the game from the baseline. DYNALACING™ technology has been strategically designed to hold when extra support is needed. This allows you to experience a locked-in feel when you're making quick transitions. There's also a two-piece midsole design that helps improve stability when your foot lands on the court.DYNAWALL™ technology in the midsole now extends into the heel for added stability during lateral movements. It's a functional feature that's effective when you're running covering both sides of the baseline.

The closest to perfection!
Runs 1/4 size lager, well made, good materials, gives you a good cushioning and great stability when going side to side and back and forward, embraces your feet like nothing else. My best tênis shoes by a mile. And fell like using on my daily use shoe

The worst shoe I’ve ever purchased
Not just the worst tennis shoe but worst shoe I’ve ever owned. I love the gel resolution 9s but even though the outsoles were still good, the padding and comfort was shot. The 9s required zero break-in and fit great. Now with the x they are like boats on my feet. There is so much damn room everywhere - around the heel, around the toes, and in the middle. I’ve put about 9 hours on these and they still aren’t broken in. I don’t know how they went so far off the rails. A few people complain about the 9s being narrow and they make these heavy, extra roomy, and uncomfortable. I wish I could get my money back at this point. Now I need to find a new company and new shoe. In the last five years I’ve never come across a 9.5 shoe that doesn’t fit. Length-wise these are fine but this is a wide shoe. If you have wide feet you might be ok. If you don’t, run away from these. What an expensive disappointment.

Great shoe, enhanced stability and new technology that supports ankle well
I am a tennis player who goes through 2 to 3 pair of shoes every year. I refuse to buy shoes from tennis racket companies like Babolat or Wilson. Similarly, I ain't buying racquets from asic or North Balance.I have been a big fan of Asic gel series. This shoe is a few steps ahead. I really like the new shoe sole technology. I am also enjoying the Pguard technology that provides a good support to my ankle. Love it.

Heavy. Be sure about sizing
They seem good in quality. The reviews about weight are definitely worth considering. Not sure why they tell you to size down. I had to return because they were too small.Going for something lighter instead

Not asic’s normal quality
I have worn the asics gel line of shoes for years because of an old achilles injury and they’ve been great, but this shoe isn’t. It is uncomfortable because: it is stiff, has no cushioning in the sole( hard), is heavier than necessary, and not very breathable. It does seem well built.

Excellent shoe
This shoe is excellent. I'd buy it again. Excellent fit, design, unique, effective, useful. Comfortable.

Wide shoe but not good for wide feet.
Performance wise, descriptions says it all. Fit/comfort, not so great, I added an insole as I always do with any of my court/running shoe for more comfort, even though it says it wide its still a little narrow and long for a size 10, I still have a lot of length room in the toe box. There's a lot of pressure on the side of the small toe. If you have fairly wide feet I would avoid buying this, if you got a average foot this is a very good shoe. Also the green color looks amazing.

A step in the right direction - durable and flexible
Not as brick-like as the regular gel 8s - working very well so far
