I was skeptical at first, but this fountain works really well for my 18 ft bestways pool. Super easy to install, and it does help lower the water temperature by about 5 degrees. I like that you can adjust the water flow of the fountain and it doesn't restrict the filter.

To preface this review and after having tried a couple other evaporative chillers that were cheaply made and available in multiple qty these seem to work much better than the others for several reasons. Firstly they are much heavier thicker wall pipes & fittings that will last longer than the other cheaper solutions. They also have held up to use and abuse by kids in the pool much better without coming undone and de pressurizing the other return lines. I can also confirm these have 1 1/2 MPT fittings which is a plus when threading these into existing pool return or bubbler sockets as shown in the picture in my application. Since they are actually 1 1/2 MPT they also allow for more thread engagement into the return socket and a jacket that secures the fitting to the return socket. The other cheaper coolers I bought at best threaded 2 to 3 turns into the 1 1/2 FPT socket and that was all before risking damaging my return Threads. All things to consider when using this as a chiller or pool cooler. The design is also better in that there’s a relief valve that can be fully shut with no gushing water at the control vent when closed like the others if you intend to use this at a lower RPM and want to save energy running these coolers at night. As for the results when running this cooler at night on hot less humid days these things seem to work at their best. Chilling to pool on average 3 to 4 degrees vs the absence of them altogether. Don’t expect too much out of these and you won’t be disappointed, but 3 to 4 degrees cooler can make a huge difference between what seems like bath water and comfortable water temps in your pool. Also remember that evaporation cooling works best when it’s less humid so they don’t work as well in extremely humid conditions. Don’t be expecting too much when your humidity is near 100% like it gets to be here in south Texas. About 2 to 3 degrees tops in those conditions. 17,000 gal in-ground pool. Running variable speed pump at night for 6 to 8 hrs.

I was under the assumption that these fountains were universal for above ground anf in ground pools. The pipe coming for the wall is to short. When I installed it the vertical pipe rubs up against the top rail. Which make the product flex and not thread in the jet opening and comes right off. I have and above ground Lake Effects brand pool.

While it was incredibly easy to assemble, and easy to install on our new Intex XTR 12x24 pool, the end result was not worthwhile. We get ample pressure from the pump, we have the upgraded pump which pushes the water through strongly. However, when we put this on, and expected to see Niagra falls, we were left with a very subtle flow of water trickling out. maybe 8-10" with the valve opened to max. Needless to say, the kids were disappointed. We had a similar one on our pool in Florida, but this one pales in comparison. The seller is incredible though and definitely stands behind their product, and for that reason alone, I will give the seller a high review. It's hard to find sellers who stand behind their products anymore. I'll definitely give them another chance in the future.

This is the 4th fountain sprayer we have tried, all different companies. The first two the fittings did not match up to our pool and the third one that has a light, the housing where the light is was not glued so water was spraying out of it and then we tried this one, it fit perfectly, it fit tight, it sprays further than what is in the video. So far we’re impressed. We’ve heard that one of these can help cool the pool a couple degrees so we’re still waiting to see if that’s gonna work, if not, we’ll use it with the pool chiller too. This gives a nice ambiance if you like a fountain sound.

Bought as a gift for my son’s BIRTHDAY gift. It adds a nice water fall to his above ground pool . He really likes as well as his guests. Great value and easy to install.

the component fits and does its job. but i cannot tighten the assembly without the threads slipping off. the parts do not have many threads to engage and does not seem to bottom out to the adjacent part for a snug fit. anytime i adjust the spray nozzle the this part comes loose. avoid this part if possible.
