Dig your own grave
Before this album came out there was a LOT of anticipation. Anyone who had been following the various obscure breadcrumbs along the trail to DEMA, deciphering the 'clues' and revelling in the shared discovery of associated facts and images, would have been ecstatic when this album first came out. Unfortunately, during the 'hiatus' Tyler Joseph found love and lost his angst. Thanks to the input from the immeasurably talented Paul Meany (aka Mutemath, a name that would be familiar to the clique) and the steadying presence of Mr. J. Dunn Esq. this album becomes a tale of two halfs. The front end has some exceptionally listenable (and, sadly, somewhat commercial) pieces. 'Part two' seems to harken back to the days when TOP talked to disenfranchised and emotionally vulnerable youth with a megaphone. Now it seems they only use a microphone like everyone else. It's really scary when you stop to ask the question: "Where can they go next?" I would dearly love to hear what the true Clique members feel about this. As a 57-year-old man with a youthful heart I could never dream of laying claim to being of their number. But I very much respect their opinion because they are ultimately the reason for the continued existence of TOP. Ultimately, they are the ones who will decide which direction we all take.

Amazing! I love this whole album, all their songs are relatable, well written. Love the sound have listened to this non stop! Totally recommend this album for any Twenty One Pilots Fan, you will not be disappointed. Quick delivery.

Il prodotto si presenta in una custodia classica per CD fatta in plastica, e posta all'interno di un'altra custodia di cartone. Il CD funziona molto bene, nel libretto all'interno della custodia si possono trovare i testi delle canzoni.

Auch bei diesem Album hat twenty one pilots sich mal wieder selbst übertroffen. Die beiden haben gute Arbeit geleistet und vor allem (wie auch schon vorher) etwas neues ausprobiert; besonders der leichte Raggae-Flair, der bei manchen Songs durch kommt gefällt mir sehr. Gute Texte, grandiose Melodien - es ist für fast jeden was dabei. Wichtig dabei: unbedingt öfter hören! Mir haben einige Lieder, wie z.B. Smithereens erst nach ein paar Mal Hören gefallen, was sich letztendlich aber definitiv gelohnt hat. 5 Sterne, weil die Jungs viel Herzblut reingesteckt haben und man das einfach raushört.
