I have a Maltipoo and she has a short snout, this was the smallest and thinnest of all the muzzles that I could find and it works beautifully.Every other one I tried, which I purchased five, that width was so big that it caused friction Burns on her nose.

I have a 14lb cav and it does fit so I’d say the size chart is accurate. However she would not keep it on long enough for me to evaluate any further and I’m not sure there is anyway to make it stay on her without making it uncomfortable for her. We got this to try to keep her from trying to eat frogs and lizards but this was not the route to go with her, she’s just not a muzzle girlie. Overall, it’s soft, breathable and well built and if you think a muzzle will work for your dog then this might be a good one!

We bought this muzzle to assist in clipping our Yorkie's nails. He DOES NOT like his nails clipped and always got a little 'nippy' during it. This muzzle has made it so easy! He actually does not mind wearing it for the 5 minutes it takes to clip his nails. Fits great, seems to be comfortable and is great quality.
