Oh my goodness, this is the easiest, most effective way to remove nicotine stains from mini blinds!!! The problem I've always had before was not the slats themselves but the suspension strings -how the heck can you clean the stain from them without damaging them?! Well.. I used 1/3 of the powder in what, 3 inches of hot water, maybe 4 inches; put the blinds in.. and seriously it didn't even take 5 minutes for the blinds AND strings to be pearly white again! Here's a pic of the water afterwards and the blinds afterwards.. I'm sorry it didn't occur to me to take "before" pictures, but surely the color of the water and blinds is enough to show how well the powder works!! I literally put my nose to the blinds after cleaning to see if there was a residual smell, and I didn't smell anything; not the cleaner's smell OR any leftover nicotine smell - So yeah, if you want to restore your mini blinds to a pre-smokers state.. definitely get some! Waaay cheaper than replacing them and works almost instantly.. it doesn't get any better than that!!

We had to clean ceilings, walls, doors and baseboards in my mom's house, and this product was magical. She had accumulated 11 cats in her house and when we were done, there was no trace of cat smell or mess.

I received this 4 ounce packet of powdered TSP. I used the TSP mixing it with water. There were no recommendations on mixing on the package, only that it was customizable. I found directions online. The online information said for basic cleaning the ratio is ½ cup per 2 gallons of water. This pkg as 4 ounces is approx ½ cup. I recommend doing an online search based on the items being cleaned. The dilution can be customized as this package recommended. I used the liquid to clean cabinet doors and the cabinet boxes before painting. The TSP liquid helped me to remove the surface dirt and oil as well as taking the gloss off the prior varnish. I used this liquid on most of the cabinets. Then I hand sanded one of the doors and cabinet boxes. Finishing everything with 3 coats of acrylic white cabinet paint, I compared the two options. I could tell no difference in the way the paint adhered to any of the surfaces. The finished cabinets also look the same, in my opinion. I did a sample board - half sanded and half cleaned with TSP. Then painted the board at the same time as the cabinets. I followed with a hashtag razor cut on each side of the sample board. Afterwards, I tried to remove the paint with heavy adhesive tape. The paint did not pull away or flake. It was well adhered to both surfaces. I will update if in the long term I see any difference in the overall adhesion and performance compared to the fully sanded unit. The TSP was a much faster option compared to sanding. It also made less dust.

I just tried this TSP powder this morning. I used it in the dishwasher like regular dishwashing powder. It was absolutely amazing. Dingy spoons were shinier, deep coffee stains were removed, things just look all around cleaner. I had this sticky note on the refrigerator for at least five years. It was recommended by a work colleague.. Anyway, TSP powder is available at Lowe’s, but Amazon can deliver it in 5 to 10 hours? So there you go, that’s my review.

Review of trisodium phosphate from Coolinario I very rarely used trisodium phosphate. It is an incredibly strong cleaner, but the strength and all the phosphates in it come with problems. It's the kind of cleaning solution that you definitely want to be careful with. When I need it, though, for jobs that other cleaners aren't doing a good job on, it's a great product to have. I mixed up a small amount of this just to make sure that it worked properly and yes, it did work as expected. I have no complaints about this particular TSP product. Any reservations I have about using it I would also have with TSP from any other brand. As long as I'm using TSP appropriately and carefully, it's something I like to keep around just in case nothing else works.
