Ray-Ban Meta - Wayfarer (Large) Smart Glasses - Shiny Caramel Transparent, Polarized Brown

So far, so good! Got these last week, read up on them and set them up. The first day I was able to take some photos and video, listen to music from my iPhone and access the internet. This weekend we did a road trip and I was able to record video, again take photos, ask Meta what I was looking at and get details. They are also great sun glasses! All in all, pretty cool. Now my wife wants a pair! Christmas is coming, dear.

I manage a big festival. Since I am so busy on event day, I rarely have time to take pictures. Yes, I have a pro doing it but taking more candid pictures is excellent for social media. The glasses were great for that. What I didn't expect, was to use them every single day since I got them. I don't like earbuds in my ears, and I listen to a lot of podcasts. Having the Meta glasses is absolutely fantastic! Combining the camera and the listening feature is a game-changer, and I'm not kidding. Wearing the glasses allows me to answer calls, they read out text messages, and of course having instant access to the camera function is great. First world problems like "oh jeez! I have to reach into my pocket, unlock my phone, turn on the camera, get people posed, and THEN take the picture is so harrrrrerrrrrd!" seem silly until you have these glasses. It's just BAM! your picture is taken. You don't have to interrupt the moment. GET THESE!

Admittedly, I purchased the sunglasses on the sleek style and appearance alone, the technology is a plus. The lenses are clear, but the Ray-Ban logo etching in the corner of the glasses is distracting. The weight of the glasses is nice, but they have a hollow feel to them. I selected the large size and the fit is excellent. The Shiny Caramel color of the glasses looks amazing and suits me perfect! Meta AI integration is an awesome feature, and the battery life is long with infrequent charging. Overall, great product and I would buy it again.

I had the first generation Facebook Stories and liked then innovation. Then, when I experienced the Meta Ray-bans it was a game changer - I like the transition lenses so I can use them inside or out; and I'm impressed with the on-going updates to the Meta View App. Looking forward to 3rd Generation!

Ok so they work really well. Amazing for music listening while still hearing the world around you. Not much base but great for podcasts and non hip hop music. The photo and video are Greta on the fly. You are taking video or photo more than 12 full time away Alas the lens is more on the wide angle side. With iOS you can have the image/video go straight to your photos on your phone/tablet. I would keep them except for fit. Now I have a bigger than normal head. Fitted cap I am a 7 3/4. I have a pair of classic wayfarers in the large size and just fit perfectly. Very little indent on the side of my head a level after long usage. Problem here is RayBan built in on the side pieces rather than out. They come in about 1cm on each piece. While 2cm might not seem like a lot, after only 30 mins wearing the pressure and pushing on my head means I have to take them off for a good hour. If they had just built the arm outward or made the measures a little bigger, this would be 6 stars out of 5. I had this problem with the original Snapchat glasses, the Bose smart glasses, and now these. Sending back tomorrow after a week to try and make it work.

I love the quality and functionality of the glasses. The problem is it will only record video a maximum of 60 seconds. That pretty much eliminates most things you want to record. Hopefully an update comes that will get up to at least 5 minutes.

I returned my glasses because they were too dark for me and when indoors I like the look. I was considering a clear glass pair until I saw my refund amount. They took $89.82 out of my total I paid. I paid shipping & tax. Beware

Pros: Easy to setup AI works great Fits as any Ray-Ban Good image quality (daytime) Cons: Sharp edges on the arms, not the usual Ray-ban quality Speakers are fine; but not the greatest Takes a max. of 1min video image quality (nighttime) Doesn’t come with USBC Overall; its a good option, and recommended. And I hope more software features to come

This device is well-suited for recording short product review videos or performing tasks while using both hands. It is also ideal for live streaming. However, it is unfortunate that it does not support streaming on platforms other than Facebook and Instagram.
