It does not make any noise in my pocket. There is a pretty good review video on YouTube that demonstrates the noise level when it is in action. Honestly, it is a quiet fidget toy.

Does it have tension while using it? I notice some videos I see it tightens when the rings cross I think?

Yes there is some tension if the rings cross in a certain way. Almost feels like you could damage it if you force it.

Why are you charging so much?

They're not that much and worth it.

So how do you work this?

I mean there's no real "working" it. In my review I mention several different ways you can move/fidget with it that surprisingly don't get old. They really are perfect for someone with mindless and or anxious energy. YouTube videos are the only way to really understand the movement of it.
