Good ingredients, good taste, and nice variety
Blue Buffalo and Earthborn are the staples in my cats' canned food diets. The former because my cats have done very well with Blue Buffalo over the years, and the latter because it's good cat food, and one of my cats just loves it. However, my cats - and I think most cats - prefer variety in canned foods. While my cats will eat Blue Buffalo kibble every day without complaint, they grow bored with the same canned food. Thus, I rotate a wide variety of premium canned foods into their diet. My requirements are that meat, poultry, or fish should be the first ingredient and that soy, corn, wheat, gluten, or unnamed byproducts be excluded. Although my two cats (Ella, age 11, and Bubba, age 2) like both Blue Buffalo and Earthborn, they will refuse to eat either if offered to them several days in a row. Weruva's products are among the premium foods that I rotate into the mix, and I particularly like variety packs. In this Weruva selection, there are four recipes: Chicken Frick 'A Zee, Lamb Burger, Kitty Gone Wild, and Funk in the Trunk. Yeah, I know; silly names. Approximately 80% of what is in a can of cat food is represented in the first four ingredients, with the most prominent ingredient being named first and on down the line. The first five ingredients in each of the recipes in this variety pack are as follows: Chicken Frick 'A Zee: Chicken, Chicken Broth, Sunflower Seed Oil, Locust Bean Gum, and Calcium Lactate. Lamb Burger: Fish Broth, Tuna, Lamb, Lamb Lung, and Sunflower Seed Oil. Kitty Gone Wild: Fish Broth, Salmon, Tuna, Sardine, and Mackerel. Funk in the Trunk: Chicken Broth, Chicken (Boneless, Skinless Breast), Tuna, Pumpkin, and Sunflower Seed Oil. I don't see anything scary in the rest of the list, so these are pretty good. While I would prefer meat, poultry, or fish as the first ingredient, I don't have a problem with Fish Broth or Chicken Broth as the first ingredient because one of the major benefits of wet food is that cats, particularly when they grow older, sometimes don't drink enough water to meet the needs of aging kidneys, and because cats prefer to get their liquid requirements through their food than through drinking water, although they always have fresh drinking water available to them. Perhaps, if I were feeding only one type of canned food to my cats, I'd pick something that didn't have broth as the first ingredient, but these are among many premium foods that are part of their diet, and broth is better than water because it includes nutrients and enhances the taste. Plus, my cats have always preferred wetter, gravy-type recipes to the drier paste-type cat foods. My last four cats lived to be in their mid-to-late-20s, so I must be doing something right.

Overall High-Quality Kitten Food
I chose the Wuvera brand as my kitten’s wet food based on a recommendation of an acquaintance. I like that it is starch and carrageenan free, with minimal preservatives. My kitten enjoys all 4 varieties with equal passion, and I’ve yet to notice a significant difference in any digestive issues when switching across the four flavors. (Although, She’s also consistently eaten a high grade dry kitten food since adopted her 6 week ago, which may contribute to good digestion). There are a few reasons I gave this product 4 stars vs. five. It would more-so be a 4.5 rating if that was a choice. Firstly, the Salmon food contains large chunks of fish (see photos). Please be certain to diligently break apart these chunks, & assure there are no bones, which can cause intestinal damage in kittens. Personally ? I elected to remove these pieces when my kitten first came home at 10 weeks. I now assure they are broken up and well mixed with the remainder of the food. Aside from my above reservations, the Salmon food ultimately became my girl's favorite. I ordered a 10 oz pack of 6 cans of the Salmon food after going through the 3.2 oz. cans in an increasingly rapid rate over the two months I’ve had her. I noticed she eagerly ate it when the can was first opened. However, she would shy away from it by the third serving from the same can. Although I seal and store all of her wet food in the fridge with air tight with BPA cling wrap? I think the minimal preservatives possibly impacted her desire for the “leftovers”, as kittens have sensitive stomachs. I’ve returned to the 3.2 oz. until she is older. Lastly; this most likely part of a recent, regularly occurring issue with Amazon, but I was shipped the regular “Cats in the Kitchen” multi-pack, despite ordering the “Cats in the Kitchen; Kitties Gone Wild” multi-pack. My local pet store is inconsistent with their inventory of the brand & variety. As such? I really rely on Amazon as a Prime member to get orders correct. I tried to feed my kitten the cat version. I looked identical to me, but I’m not a cat. I find it frustrating that I pay for Prime service when it recently feels less than Prime. Message being? Check the labeling carefully before opening. The appearance of the cat version cans initially looked identical to the kitten variety. I would overall strongly recommend this kitten food. I hope this review is helpful to other Amazon shoppers!

3 happy heathy cats
To find a healthy food that cats aged 3 to 18 years old all continuously love is a miracle. I feel as though I’ve tried every canned food available and never before found one that all three keep craving for. My cats may try one of the new foods and eat it all and look happy. I go buy some more and realize it is only when it is a new entree that they are excited and the second or third time around they try to cover it or don’t touch it. Plus each cat has his and her own preference of flavors and consistency in canned food. I closely follow my vet’s recommendations for kibble which is specific to each cat, three times a day in three different rooms. The canned is for variety one, two or three times a day. Canned isn’t cheap but it gives them moisture and I like the idea of more than one food for flavor and nutrition. Three year old boy rarely even bothers to smell a new one and has eaten only a few types. Five year old girl is more particular and she may take a lick or two to try about half of the offers, then may throw up even very expensive foods, never this one. My 18 year old is on total prescription foods but I do cheat very, very occasionally and he unfortunately loves it a lot. We have tried all of Weruva’s products besides every other brand name and flavor in the stores and only my dogs get happy when there is a full bowl of wet wasted cat food sitting around. The last annual vet examine they all were perfect weights, looked strong and healthy. The 18 year old is pretty active as well so I highly recommend this Weruva Kittie Goes Wild Salmon au jus to make life easier and have happy cats.

My cat absolutely loves this wet food (especially the salmon and the lamb flavours), his plate is spotless after every meal. We have tried some other popular brands, but some he just doesn't like as much, and others make him vomit. And with weruva we haven't had a single issue, would highly recommend!

My picky eater senior cats love this variety. Even without toppers, they devour it. It's worth the price.
