4 Litre Glass Jug with 100% Stainless Steel Lid for Water Distillers

I found this a little fiddly to put together when assembling the last mini bolt and nut for the handle, but once done it is very sturdy and functional. It also took a while for the seal to allow the lid to bed down so that it didn't leak when pouring, but now it has bedded in well and functions perfectly! As far as distiller jugs go, this one looks nice and, obviously, it's better to use a glass one than plastic. The glass seems more than heat resistant and sturdy enough so I don't understand how other reviewers have managed to have theirs crack, unless maybe it's been knocked quite hard, but that is the nature of anything glass. I found this one to be the best value of all the ones I could find online.

I previously gave an awful review for this product as it came with a hairline crack in it but mainly because of the inefficiency of the silicone ring in stopping water from coming out.Apparently it needs to come with retard instructions (or just any). The silicone ring is to go inside of the steel lid and then it will absolutely stop water from leaking.Great product

Not the best quality with all those rubber gums . Can’t close properly the metal top and the bottom rubber keeps coming off so it’s useless . Otherwise does the job.Update!I’m now more and more frustrated with this jug and I wish I never bought it . It’s awful. It spills the water it’s such a waste of money, I have to buy new one.

The perfect replacement for my old jug which broke. The glass is strong, the handle (once assembled to the glass) is sturdy and is also very simple to put together with just a screwdriver. All the attachments come with it. I can't fault the product at all. Its perfect for my distiller!

I cannot understand what is wrong with people saying that this doesn't hold 4 Litres of water - yes it does hold 4 Litres of water!I do not understand the other complaints about this item in other reviews either?!Ok, so I had to ask a friend to put the handle together for me, because I couldn't work it out - so what?! That is on me!This is perfect the shock absorbing ring around the outside of the base is an excellent idea, and when I tip it to poor when it is full and heavy, there is zero spillage unlike with my old plastic jug.I can't fault it, and am very happy with it.

The media could not be loaded. Potentially fine, but the product sent was not the one shown. There was no way to tighten the steel bands around the jug, so it remained very loose. The spout slotted over the lip at the top, but fell off as soon as the jug was tipped.I tried to buy cheaper than my original distiller provider, but unfortunately it was false economy.

The product arrived well protected, disassembled. Assembly was easy, no problem here. Handle is solid, although it looked flimsy before assembled. It is a easy to operate, good quality jug. Holds distilled water from our distiller.
