If you haven’t read the first two books in the series, do yourself a favor and start there. It’s essential. The Cursed picks up right after the wild ending of book two, and I loved that Harper revisits those final moments from Margot and Beelzebub’s perspectives. It’s not just a refresher—it’s a deeper, more intimate lens on the chaos that sets the stage for book three. This installment is spooky, emotional, and steeped in themes of self-forgiveness and buried secrets. Margot’s emotional depth is breathtaking. Her journey through guilt, healing, and rediscovery is raw and real—written with such care that it feels personal. Her insecurities aren’t brushed aside; they’re embraced and transformed, making her feel powerful in her vulnerability. I’m so excited to see how she continues to evolve in the next book. Beelzebub was a standout. His unwavering support for Margot, even as he remained ruthless to everyone else, was beautifully done. He gave her space to process, to question, to grow—never pushing, always present. And when she needed distance, he respected that too. His patience and quiet strength made their dynamic unforgettable. The romance was a slow burn, simmering beneath the surface with tension and longing. But when the spice finally hit—it was so worth it. Emotional, intense, and deeply connected, it wasn’t just physical—it was cathartic. Every moment felt earned, and it added even more depth to Margot and Beelzebub’s bond. Worldbuilding? Absolutely phenomenal. The journey through the nine circles of hell was dark, imaginative, and completely immersive. Each circle represented a challenge, a truth to face before moving forward—and it added layers of meaning to Margot’s emotional and physical journey. It was haunting and brilliant. And that ending? Cruel. Harper ripped my heart out and stomped on it. I’m devastated, I’m obsessed, and I need the next book now. What am I supposed to do until then? Review: Good. Wish we saw more willow and Lucifer though - So I expect this book to be about Willow and Lucifer. Idk why, but I did. It isn’t. Which is fine. It’s about Margot and Beelzebub, and with how book 2 ended that makes sense. I just wasn’t thinking, and was like oof! Book 3 knowing nothing. I did enjoy this book, and their relationship. I always enjoy reading about a new couple. The healing, and patience. VERY different from what we saw in the previous book. Don’t get wrong there’s plenty of angst, and whatnot too. I enjoy the whole “journey/trial” aspect too. I do wish we had seen more from our other characters as this felt more like an interconnected standalone rather than a book 3 due to that. But it is what it is. I still enjoyed it. This book definitely touches on some darker topics. It also has darker scenes. This fantasy romance is book 3 in the Coven of Bones series. The book does have darker topics, themes, and scenes. This book is an enemies to lovers. There is open door spice. Beelzebub is trapped with Margot. The witch who had captivated him with her song. Beelzebub has to return Margot back to Crystal Hollow. He will have to go through hell to get her back and he can’t let her leave his side. It’s too dangerous, and it’s not like he’d want her to anyways.

My favorite book in this series!
First off, I have to be honest and say I wasn't crazy about the Coven or the Cursed because both the FMC and MMC annoyed me too much and the story didn't flow at least for me. HOWEVER.....THIS BOOK redeemed my faith in the series and I need the next book, like now! I had to get the physical copy of this book because it's absolutely stunning and I saw that the author did making it red! The story picks up so well and I was hooked from the beginning. I like Margot and Beelz so much better than Willow and Lucifer. The title of this book made sense, the plot and spice made sense, it was just amazing! Beelz is now my book Bae, and for an archdemon you see this loving, very patient, passionate, possessive side to him, and just UGH I love him too! The only thing that annoyed me about Margot was that she complained about being trapped with this hot, sizzling, shirtless, sexy archdemon who literally has the hots for me (poor Margot! NOT!!) I mean if she don't want him I'll take him! Love that he falls first and she finally realizes that she deserves it!! Now, where's the next book in this duet?! I need it now, please & thanks 🙏🌶🥵😍🔥🔥🔥

This one was rushed …
From the Library of Sarah Ashley - Book #75: Damned if You Do, Rushed if You Don’t Well, I’ve officially hit 75 books this year, and what better way to celebrate than descending into Hell with Margot? 🫠 In Damned, our girl falls into the underworld, battles her trauma (and demons—literally), and falls for the archdemon who jumps into Hell to save her. Romantic? Sure. Healthy? Debatable. She travels through the 9 circles of Hell in what feels like a speedrun for Satan's Airbnb tour. Each circle gets one chapter. One! Felt less like Dante’s Inferno and more like a Hell-themed amusement park ride—fast, flashy, and over before you even start screaming. The writing? Rushed. The chapters? Shorter than my patience during Mercury retrograde. The ending? A cliffhanger that launched me straight into existential book rage. BUT — I did love the first two books in the series, and the plot was there. It just needed a little more time in the emotional oven. So I'm slapping a generous 3 stars on this one for vibes, potential, and demon boyfriend content. Send help. Or a rewrite. 🙃 #Book75 #DamnedBookReview #INeedClosure #WhyAreAllTheChaptersShort #DemonDaddy #MargotDeservedBetter #NineCirclesOfWhatNow #HowDidSheEvenPassThrough#ThreeStarsForEffort #RomanceInHell #FantasyFail #LibraryofSarahAshley

Reeling. That cliffhanger took. me. out. 🫣 Ok, coherent thoughts. Firstly, the fact that I got to advance read this blows my mind. Incredibly grateful. I love this world. The Coven was one of my Fairyloot subscription books, and I stayed up until 2am. to finish it in one sitting. Then, I immediately bought the ebook of The Cursed and launched right in. While I was completely captivated by Willow and Grey, Margot was a standout supporting character even then. I wanted to know more about her. This book exceeded and defied my expectations of it. "A Red Witch with an aversion to being touched, thrown into the depths of Hell with Beelzebub? I know how this will go. " No, I didn't. Margot's story is fraught with anxiety, temptation, self-loathing, and fear. It tore at my heart mercilessly. The way that Harper explores lust, love, and consent is brilliant. Her journey through the Nine Circles of Hell with Beelzebub was both gripping and thought-provoking. As action-packed as you would expect a journey through Hell to be, but also so much deeper. I love how Harper explored the sins and the hierarchy of Hell. Beelzebub and Margot's dynamic together? Perfection. An archdemon of Hell setting the standard for respectful men is the most swoonworthy combination. 🙌🏻🙌🏻 That's all I'm saying about that for now because it needs to be experienced firsthand. That's it. My coherency has vacated me. All of the stars for this book. I have to go yearn endlessly for the next one. 😩😩😩

I don't know how to review this, I don't want to cause any harm to the author so I'm giving it five stars, but I paid full price for a book that's been previously used. It's not the end of the world, but I'm not exactly happy about it.

Harper L.Woods has an incredible ability to write, and the stories they share are always engaging and emotional. This is no different. I really enjoyed The Coven and The Cursed, but honestly they didn't grab me as much as her other books did. This book changed that. I looove the concept of Red Magic, focusing on lust and seduction. Reading about a Red Witch with an aversion to affection was interesting and made the story very unique. The FMC is relatable and very human, making it easy as the reader to connect and truly feel emotions alongside her. Watching her fear and resistance built from trauma transition to power and confidence was amazing. I found myself feeling proud of her at times. The MMC is a classic powerful demon with no understanding of emotions. Yet somehow, he gave sweetheart energy. I loved him trying to fight their connection and the slow process of learning to accept it and strive to further develop it. The storyline is action packed and unique. I thoroughly enjoyed the exploration of the realms of Hell, and getting to know all the unique characters that resided there. Overall, highly recommend this one. Make sure you read The Coven and The Cursed first and check the trigger warnings.

I loved the first two books. I would read them as comfort reads when I'm in a book slump. But this book just didn't hit the mark for me. The world building itself was great. But for me it was a bit boring in the middle. Nothing even happened with characters until 90% of the book. I did understand the need for the beginning of the book to show how they met. But even then it was anticlimactic. I did like Beelzebub character. But for me Margot was annoying actually. There were times I wanted to shake her. I know she had trauma and what happened was horrific but the your literally in hell probably not the best idea to walk away on your own no matter how angry you may be with archdemon! The ending felt a bit rushed as well. I will read the next book. But only out of loyalty for the first two books that were incredible

This book isn't just beautiful, it's well written and I really enjoyed it. I liked the first two book more but I can't wait for the next one in the series. I need to know what happens to the main characters!
