Angel Tarot Cards: A 78-Card Deck and Guidebook

These are beautiful cards. They’re a bit bigger than what I’m used to, but I do love them!

I love this deck and how each suit is represented by an elemental spirit (dragons/fire, mermaids/water, unicorns/air, and fairies/earth), as well as the angels representing the majors. All of those are some of my favorite and personal spiritual guides, so I feel very connected to this deck and the insight it gives me. The art is lush and detailed and has a nostalgic vibe. It reminds me of fantasy art from the 90’s. So fun!

Great quality and design

A lot of the artwork on these cards is worth the price of purchase. i.e. 14 - Balance (Temperance) - Wow! I love how they changed the names on some of the cards: The Fool card is called The Dreamer (much better name!); The Hanged Man is called Awakening and the Death card is called Release. Changing these names was a good idea, imo. I also really like the short synopsis at the bottom of each card.I don't think this deck is perfect. I don't understand how a herd of unicorns makes sense for the Air Suit (Swords). The 3 of Swords generally has a heart pierced by 3 swords, which imo is perfect for the meaning of this card. This Angel deck has a family of unicorns in a forest - ??? How does that portray sadness that pierces your heart?I do love that the Cups suit (water in the Angel deck) is underwater. Great imagery! BUT, the 2 and 10 of Water are SO disappointing. C'mon - the 2 of Water is the Love card!!! It seems that the artist put the same couple in both of these cards and I feel they do not give the feeling of Love or Fulfillment in any way. Ah well. I have yet to find one deck where I love every card in the entire deck and how the artist portrays the meaning of the cards. But this Angel deck is mostly pretty fantastic.

The older Ryder deck is kind of scary. This deck is gorgeous and positive.

I bought the first print of these cards several years ago and was so happy to locate a store that carried them. It wasn't easy to find these this time around. Every single person who comes to my house and sees these cards use them. They are beautiful, easy to understand and 95% of the time they are right on point.They slightly differ from the original print however. They are made of a lighter kind of paper and the edges are not silver. I prefer the og cards but was very happy to have these at all. Very grateful, thank you!
