We give this to our doodles on their dinner. Has helped out tremendously with our older girl. She was getting so stiff jointed and just slowing down. This product has helped so much. We could actually see the difference in just a few days. She is up acting all frisky and jumping around playing again. She really acts happier. Great value for the money.

This supplement is priced very fairly, and it produced results amazingly fast for our older mixed breed girl. I am SUPER impressed by it. One marker for how well my dog daughter, Jemma, is feeling is whether or not she jumps from couch to couch (see video) in our living room when she’s playing. She did this *constantly* in her younger years, but she’s eight years old now and last year she stopped doing it completely. It was sad to see my beloved dog get all these grey hairs and begin to succumb to all the mobility difficulties of having older joints, and just an older body. But I could see that the puppy-ness was still inside of her and she didn’t WANT to slow down. So I made it my mission to help her. Since January I’ve made a few changes to try to get my Jem feeling like her old self. She gets about 1/2 raw food and 1/2 kibble, and a probiotic. But I could tell she was still in some pain or discomfort. We received our Special Breed Green Lipped Mussel powder on May 10th and today is only May 18th! Yesterday was the first day Jemma was back to jumping across from couch to couch AND doing zoomies out in our yard! I almost cried yesterday I was so happy to see her mobility to be restored like this. She’s 55lbs so I’ve been giving her two (rounded) scoops per day. I can’t believe it only took a week to see such profound results. I really could not be happier. This is not a paid review, I am just an overjoyed dog mom who wanted nothing more than to see my baby move with ease and feel her best every day. I’m soo grateful I found this. I believe with the way modern dog food is joint pain and inflammation, and majorly shortened life spans are epidemics among our dogs. This supplement, in addition to other healthy changes, helps combat all of that. Update January 2026: Jemma has been on this for seven months and I will keep reordering it for her. I now give her one scoop with dinner and that’s it. It has helped her a LOT. She does zoomies every day at the park! It seems like she just keeps getting in better shape so, I am thrilled with this product.

It’s too soon to say that it’s helping. My pup is a bit better but he gets this supplement with the others.. that I let choose instead of his pain meds.. After I read the reviews, I decided to go with slow introduction over his food. Started with 1.5 and in a few days bumped up to 3 that tiny spoon. He had some stomach upset, diarrhea until yesterday. Looks like now he is adjusted to this powder.

My 10 year old grand Puppy, black lab named Taz, loves the taste of it a lot!! He has really bad back legs his knees are bad. He still struggles but its a little better since we started this stuff. I wont quit using it because he loves it, it's affordable and if its helping even a little its worth it. He hates Cosequin and fish oil. He'll eat his food with fish oil but he really hates cosequin. We put him on a diet too, not related to the mussel powder! And hes lost 20lbs in the last 8 or 9 months!!

This has done wonders for my 12 year old pittie. She no longer is taking her medication for her arthritic knee. Her coat looks great too. I have now subscribed to receive it every couple months. Have recommended to friends too.
