Two a day keeps heartburn away. Unless you eat or drink something very acidic. Then you might need Tums or Mylanta liquid.

Sometimes The Little Things Can Solve Big Problems
I recently had a difficult surgery that resulted in my stomach being pushed up into my esophagus. This resulted in what is called a hiatal hernia. The resulting problems include not being able to eat much food at one time and it also causes an upset stomach. Unfortunately repairing a hiatal hernia is a grueling procedure and has a long and difficult recovery time. So I've opted to wait it out. The good part of this is that I didn't have to pay for bariatric surgery to lose weight. The doc suggested that I take Famotidine daily to help calm my stomach after eating. This has really been a Godsend for me as well as being a simple and cost-effective solution.
