Great temporary solution
I had surgery, was stuck in bed on strict orders of only laying on my right side with no getting up for six weeks. After 2 weeks I started to notice some skin breakdown on my right hip where I was laying so I bought this mattress topper to see if it would help. It actually did do the job. The skin began to heal and close up within days. Every couple of days I would have to readjust the topper because it would bunch up where I was laying. Also when setting it up make sure the tubing and pump is located at the feet side. I initially had is set up where the pump and tube were near my head, this was a mistake because the circulation was very loud with my ear to the pillow.

Great value for the price.
My husband is paraplegic. We’ve used this mattress for 3 years. It helped heal the pressure sore that he came home with from the SNF and hasn’t had a problem since.

It works great!
This product is great value for money. It does exactly what it should do, and alternates the pressure on the skin. I used it for my dad who had to spend a lot of time in bed. He always ended up lying on his back but because of the mattress he never had skin problems and no sign of pressure issues. Thank you!

No bed sores
My husband has been bed ridden for about 6 months now. He doesn't have any bed sores. He seems to be comfortable. I do have a constant problem with the mattress moving. We pull him up so he can eat. Then we roll him around to change his diapers. About every two days we have to get him up with the Hoyer just to straighten out the air mattress. The material the mattress is made of causes him to sweat a lot. I even put throw or a flat sheet folded in half between the mattress and the top sheet. What works best is a thick towel under his back.
