🌈 Light Up Your Imagination!
The CO RODE Ultra Bright 12V Pre Wired LED Diodes Light in green comes in a pack of 50, featuring 5mm ultra-bright LEDs with a 20-degree viewing angle. Each diode is pre-wired with a built-in resistor, making them ideal for a variety of electronic and electrical experiments. With 7-inch long wires, these LEDs are designed for easy connection to a 12V DC power source.

Good LEDs
They work well for my projects

Bargain-priced, Easy-to-Use, Great to have in Supply Cabinet for Marker Projects
I needed a little test light for a 12-volt automotive project. It involves an adapter from the fuse box to a wiring harness so I can see what fuses are hot with the low beams, the high beams, and the fog lights. I used a piggy-back pigtail to tap into the fuse box and wanted something cheap and lightweight to get my attention when the power was on or off.I bought the 120 bulb assortment because the price was right. I took five (5) different LEDs and wired them in parallel and touched them with a bit of solder. I then fed the leads through an empty candy bottle and added a fast disconnect crimp connector on the tinned leads. The result is a lightweight and cost-effective test light that won't leave a mark if you bump the paint or plastic on a car and the light of five LEDs seems bright enough to get my attention in all but the brightest of areas. Need more light, add more LEDs.The fact these have leads already attached was a big time saver for me. So far all units tested work. I have also ordered some panel bezels to put a few of these bulbs into the face of a project box. They are nice. The photo was taken in a room without lighting using the Night Sight mode of my cellphone. The actual impact of the light is brighter to the human eye but the cellphone auto-adjusted when the room lighting was on and you couldn't see the jar was lit in the photo, but you could see it live and in-person. This imager fairly depicts how the LEDs appear.

Short Wire
These are nice and bright but the wires are quite short.

Black=POS , Blue=NEG - TEST prior to install
I bought the 'all blue' package.PRO:They are nice and bright. They are Clear until lit.leads nicely secured and shrink-wrapped.CON:When wiring DC, the default NEGATIVE wire color is typically BLACK.NOT these LEDS! These: BLACK is POSITIVE and BLUE is NEGATIVE.If I would have wired them in, then discovered this, I'd be bummed.Luckily, I regularly test components prior to install. I am GLAD I did here.- You should too

Great product
Easy install and worked great for turn signal indicator

I waited months to review these Led's after installing them in multiple projects.
The first thing to know is they are highly directional giving a very narrow beam. They are as directional as the image would suggest, they do not illuminate like an old light bulb -at all. that does not mean they have to be avoided however. I used them as dash indicators but only after adding a 200k resistor. I highly suggest 50-250k for dimming them for a switch panel on/off light. They can be series wired and used as cargo box lights but they are a better for indicator, spot light, strip light kind of use than say an under hood illumination light because they are so directional. They make a good very narrow beam flashlight and they worked great for my 12/9/5/3 v DC power supply project as on off indicator for the 3volt lead because they did work well off only 3volts.

Super bright, not very diffused
Was going to use these LED lights in a custom illuminated trailor hitch cap. The lights were bright, but were not diffused enough for my purposes. I eventually used small segments of strip lights that have a 45 degree spread. I'll use these for other projects. I like they have clear (white) lenses and dont reveal the LED light color. The picture shows the original effect of these lights I did not like. They'll work great as spotted brake and turn lights though.

Bright without problems
The media could not be loaded. All lights confirmed working and bright warm semi-yellowish on 12v. Yellow wire is positive, white is negative. Was able to go down to 3v to light them up. Still remained lit at 32v. Heat is hardly noticeable. Lights consume 0.009 amps at 12v. I was able to clip the wires and bend the leads to fit this within an old indicator lights housing. Lights are bright, so you may need to look at how to diffuse the light.

Terrible build quality and terrible light quality
While testing, two suffered from poor solder joints causing leads to fall off. The working ones have a very poor coverage quality, many dark rings in the pattern. They are dim-ish to medium brightness, NOT bright at all. The current at 12V was only 9 mA, not the 20 or so that you would expect. At 25V the current did get up to 20 mA and the LEDs brightened up, but at that point the little series resistors got too hot to use. The connecting wires are too thin to make reliable connections (will break when flexed) and the colour code is wrong - black is universally used for ground/negative, not +12V. Basically a useless product.

Great for garden lighting projects
So convenient, prewired with a resistor to allow connection to a 12 volt circuit. Though remember it does require a DC current.Great value and a good red light.

Used for model railroad headlight
I use these to replace older incandescent bulbs in model locomotives. They are very easy to use since the prewired resistor makes them a simple drop-in replacement. Be aware that many HO headlights are a 3mm bulb, so some modifications may be needed to make these fit.
