Perfect on G21 Gen 5 OEM mags
I don't leave many reviews, but this thing works so well it deserves a good one. I fought with a c-clamp and punch disassembling the first mag, feeling like I was going to break something, before ultimately winning. For the other two mags I waited for this tool. Just squeeze the sides a little the first time you remove the baseplate and it pops right off. Subsequent removals are very easy. The all metal tool feels substantial and well made. It should be provided in the case when you buy a Glock. I used it on G21 gen 5 OEM mags.

It works, its affordable and should be part of your kit
While you can disassemble a OEM Glock magazine with the punch tool, if your like me, you often run into issues. I attended the armorer course a month back and learned how to do it, but I still run into issues, especially with the older magazines. The tool makes it easier. Its like a bottle opener, but for magazines. I found that while the tool is dolid steel, tge coating on mine seems to be flaking. Flaking coat aside, I do not see any other flaw with the tool. If your a budding Glock Armorer or just like having tools, this one is a worthy addition, though like the sight tool, it is a strict specialist.

Good tool, works better than described.
Changing a baseplate on a Glock mag is not fun. Need 3 hands. This device makes it simple. Put the pin into the hole on the baseplate so it pushes down on the pin projecting from the inner plate. Put the mag down on a soft surface... like piece of carpet on your bench... then give the tool a gentle shove. Breaks the baseplate loose easily and without losing the spring. Remove the tool, hold down the inner plate, then slide the extension on.Pros: works flawlessly. No marks or scratches on the mag.Cons: won't work to remove mag extensions. Not so important because few people want to go back to the flat baseplate. This is well worth it even if you will be changing only 3 or 4 base plates.

Great tool at a great price
Had a Glock mag come apart for my AR-9. Had to get new pieces for the mag. This tool came in handy and took seconds to take apart the mag and put it back together. Would def buy again for the price. But from the looks of it I won’t need to buy one again. Seems to be made of good material. If anything changes in the long run I’ll update this review. Thanks for taking the the time to read this.

Excellent to open Glock brand magazines.
This is a very high quality tool that will last a lifetime. I've told several of my peers about it and they all ordered the same one. If you need to clean/inspect the inside of a Glock magazine, such as a G17, G19, G26, and more, this is far easier to use than a standard Glock OEM punch. You will love it. Comes in a nice velvet type bag.
