It was so realistic, when I first opened the box and pulled the hammer back, my family was scared for me to pull the trigger, in fear that it would actually shoot 😆 shows how realistic it looks. If you are skeptical about buying this product, even the slightest bit, let me help you. BUY IT! You won’t regret it even the slightest bit. The wood was freshly waxed, and had a heavy realistic weight. Absolutely adore this, will be an amazing conversation piece for the Renaissance Faire! 🥰🥰🥰

I was actually shocked to feel how well made this is. I expected cheap plastic but it feels like wood and metal, very pleasantly surprised with this!

Incredible quality for a prop with good price. This prop is put together with real wood and metal and is ready to rock right out of the box!

The pistol does have the heft of a real flintlock. The hammer and trigger for the flintlock does work. The hammer hits the striker plate without creating a spark. The ramrod is just a piece of decorative furniture. Overall I think this is worth the price. I am using it as part of a Age of Sail nautical theme in my house. I will display it with a cutlass and right-handed flintlock pistol.
