That's a lot of current to be pushing through an itty bitty connector!
Decided to pick this up to go along with my Samsung S25 Ultra that I just received. The phone did not come with a charger and neither of the two Anker fast magnetic chargers I have worked as fast as they did on my old phone. Doine a little bit of research, I found you needed a 45W charger to charge the S25 at "super" speed, or whatever they're calling it. It's supposedly faster than "fast" charging. Of course it is - it's "super" speed! (rolls eyes)The charger comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable supposedly capable of handling this high current charge capacity. The S25 does come with a cable too, but it's buried in the box the phone came in, only to be used in a dire emergency. The other thing I read was that you DO need a special/better cable to charge at these current levels, so Anker has been thoughtful in providing one with their charger. The cable seems to be of very high quality as well. The charger and cable did exactly what they were supposed to do - charge the battery in my new phone much faster than anything before. I guess with a 5 A-h capacity, you do need a beefy charger to fully charge it. I'm not going to be using it all the time though. It will be a backup to the backup of the backup. My magnetic chargers will do well for when I'm at home or at work at either of my desks. My two 49 A-h power banks will do the charging via USB when I'm somewhere else. THIS Anker will come out if I need an emergency quick charge. I don't want to use it too often because charging Li batteries with very high currents will stress them unnecessarily, even if they can handle the current without exploding. In conclusion, this Anker 45W charger seems to provide enough power to super/ultra charge the newer phones with the large capacity batteries. The well made USB-C to USB-C cable is a nice addition too!

Superb charger meets all expectations
This charger, the Anker B2692, is an amazing device.Physically, this device is more compact than previous Anker 45W chargers, in particular the Anker "Ace" A2677, which in itself is a superb product (I personally own four of those). This device is 2.2 Oz and measures 1.26x1.30x1.45 inches with blades folded, which extends to 1.26x1.30x2.08 inches with blades extended. The last 1/8 inch of the plug blades are insulated to prevent against short circuits. This form factor lends itself well to compact charging while travelling. For charging, this charger offers Power Delivery 3.0 at the standard voltages (5,9,15 and 20V) at up to 3A, with 20V delivery going up to 2.25A (45W), with PPS protocols going from 5-11V (5A) and 4.5-21V (2.25A). This is suitable for charging Steam Decks, some lower powered laptops and the latest phones which call for up to 21V charging including the Pixel 9 series of phones.Load testing was conducted with a pure-sine-wave inverter on a Bluetti Power Station, Wattmeter, a PowerZ USB analyzer, and an Anker A1340 as the load, and an ambient temperature of 70F. This charger was able to deliver the full rated 45W in excess of 1 hour without any throttling (the first 30 minutes are shown on the attached image). The device reached a maximum external temperature of 140F during testing as measured by a thermal camera, which is toasty but not too hot to handle. The included USB cable is a 100W, USB 2.0 cable suitable for charging, it is not braided nor does it have any special insulation similar to Anker's more premium offerings - so nothing too special.Overall, an excellent device from Anker which fulfills its mission superbly. I'll be buying another one for sure.

A big miss - Don’t recommend - Updated
First, very disappointing Anker product experience. Upon receiving the product and attempting to use it, it would not power my devices and occasionally makes a concerning popping noise when plugging the device in to a power outlet. Ask someone who has exclusively used Anker chargers, this is a total miss and would not recommend. My iPhone took a while to even register it had been connected to this charger. While my MagSafe charger and iPad didn’t even register the charger.Update: Anker sent me a replacement and the it works perfectly. Definitely managed to get a defective charger. So far the replacement has lived up to the Anker name and is working perfectly. It’s a very convenient size and perfect for travel.

Functions as it should. Best part though, it is very compact for the rated size.
