What kind of steel is this?

5Cr15Mov is a low-end stainless Steel (it’s a Chinese copy of the famous german X50CrMoV15), high in Chromium for corrosion resistance. It was made for the knife industry, especially for kitchen knives. Easy to sharpen but won’t keep an edge when using it rigorously much like any kitchen knife.

Far as I know its just an ulu. A little different in shape but works great. I love mine
