I have only used the computer a little bit but so far it has been fantastic. I am starting up college again and needed something faster. I didn't want to break the bank and I often travel with my job. I wanted something inexpensive, portable, but still reliable and fast. This has fit my needs perfectly and has a great start up time. I have also starting using it for some of my work projects because it works great for that as well.There are a few small scratches on the exterior and the finger printer reader doesn't work well. Other than that it works perfectly. I would not hesitate to buy again.

I really was impressed with this HP laptop. No freeware or bloatware! Very fast laptop and for a refurbished laptop this one would be hard to tell from a new one. No scratches or dents and the software performs flawlessly. My only issue is the battery only lasts about 24 minutes. No big deal there, I just keep it plugged in.

I did not have a computer at home and got by with my ipad but then I was put on a busy committee at church and named the secretary of the committee so I needed a laptop. I did not want to spend a lot right now so looked into a refurbished. After much searching and reading I settled on the HP EliteBook.It actually came a day early and I was so excited only to find the hard drive was bad. I called Amazon and Phillipe was so nice and tried to help but then decided it was best to send me another one. It came 2 days later and works great.It is not new. There are some scratches and it was a tiny bit dingy but nothing I couldn't fix with a damp paper towel. It works good. Windows 10 came already loaded and setting everything up went smoothly. I have since loaded Office Suite, Adobe and a genealogy program and no change in the function.The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the first one was bad. Seems like they could have found that before it left the warehouse. But Amazon took care of me and got me a replacement very fast. I am very pleased and would do this again in a heartbeat.

I will initiate a return/refund through Amazon and update my review.It is not worth my time and effort to haggle a battery replacement through the manufacturer, especially since it is a refurb purchased from you. What happened to your 90-Day Amazon guarantee???Wow!!!2/1/2020 Update: Battery no longer charges (Barely a month since purchase) and stuck at 5 1/2 hours to full recharge. Guess it is time to contact seller for replacement battery or return laptop. Dropping rating to two stars as laptop still seems ok while plugged in, but defeats the purpose for portability.Battery barely lasts two hours on a full charge. A few bumps and bruises, as expected for a used laptop, but seems to work ok otherwise. Could use a bigger SSD or M.2 but can't complain for under $200. Fairly compact and portable for a 14" HP EliteBook.

I was looking for a used laptop to supplement my i7 desktop but didn't want to spend too much money on a 2nd computer. I also didn't want to spend too little and waste money on a cheap laptop that was slow and frustrating to use. This hp 9480m was perfect for under 270 dollars. The most important feature for me is the ssd which allows booting up in less than 15 seconds. Intel i5 with 8g ram and 180g ssd works fine for my needs. 3 or 4 hrs of battery life is no problem since this laptop never leaves home. This used laptop looks like new and has alot of life left.

Got this laptop for my 10 yr old son, just thinking something we can get him as a first computer. He says it boots up fast, in about 4 seconds. Lightweight, but not super light. Backlit keyboard make it super easy to type, especially at night. Plus he says it has quality and kind of loud speakers and a robust build. His came very clean, with a new charger, lightly used. Battery life is about 3.5 hours, so we will keep an eye on it, but it is replaceble, and it beats my Thinkpad by an hour. No HDMI out and course no CD/DVD. But because of it's fast speed and lightness, I'm jealous and am thinking of getting one also.

Happy that its functioning correctly. The bottom has electrical tape on it so if I ever have to remove the battery that’ll make it difficult. Package also arrived later than expected, but still in a timely manner.

I purchase the HP EliteBook Folio 9480M as a renewed product from seller Tech Ventures. The product arrive on time and looked like a new computer. I fired it up without any issues. It is extremely fast. It seems to be faster than my i7 desktop. It was already activated so no issues there. The only problem that I experienced is that the SSD was slightly smaller than I had ordered (128GB vs 180GB. I contacted Tech Ventures and they promptly made a price adjustment. I would recommend this product and seller. This model has an easily removal battery so when the time comes to replace it all you have to do is move slide bar, pop it out and put in new one.
