Good product

I bought this as I have a recurring issue with athletes foot and have also suffered similarly in a couple of other areas in the very hot weather this summer. I wanted something that would help keep things at bay and prevent further problems. I had been using Daktarin medicated powder at about £4 for 20g. This double pack was £5.20 for 2x75g so much, much cheaper so I felt I had to give it a go. It came well sealed but I was slightly dissapointed at the size of the talc container. I have been using it for a number of weeks now and I would say that it has helped and I have had no athlete's foot since I started using it, even with the continued hot weather. The powder itself is nice and soft and provides good coverage. And despite my reservations on the size, that talc has lasted well even with using it most days. The only thing I don't especially like is the smell. It isn't really terrible but the Daktarin powder is a rather nicer smell. This is just slightly unpleasant when you shake it out. However, the smell doesn't seem to linger too much (or maybe I just don't notice it once it has been on a while?!) and since it does seem to be doing it's job it is something I can put up with. Overall, if you don't mind the smell, this is really good value for money.

I have found this foot powder to be a very effective treatment to control my athletes foot infection. At the first sign of a return I put a large quantity of the powder into each sock. Rarely have to repeat this as the itching goes away. It is also well priced compared to more well known brands.

Yes, it absorbs some sweat. Maybe it makes an uninfected foot less likely to get fungal infection but I can't see any evidence that there are any significant anti-fungal properties.
