We purchased the .5 inch mat to put under our Yamaha piano. The sound of the piano was too loud for the space and thought these mats would help absorb the sound. They did. Don't expect a miracle, but the echoing and glaring sound was reduced. They were easy to assemble, come with two sided tape that you can use to make sure they don't slide. And they also look great on the floor. Highly recommend for piano!

These are nice but you will need to buy literally 3-5x as many as you think you’ll need. The scale on these pictures is way off. Overall happy just wound up needing a lot more

I got this to cushion the sound of my cat jumping off the windowsill. It does noticeably dull the thud, but I think you are better off getting a thick shag carpet instead if you are trying to dampen the sounds of a jumping kitty. You can try put a carpet or mat on top of these, i think that would work well.It does come with a LOT of sticky squares. I'm not sure how good they are for rental spaces so we will see if they leave a mess when I move out later.

Perfect little felt tiles for quieting my dog's feet on our wood floor for the downstairs neighbor.

These are nice and thick, perfect for under my son’s drum kit so the neighbors can hear it a bit less. They are also very solid so the don’t “squish” underfoot. I was easily able to cut a few to fit around corners using a box cutter.

These are great. They work well and were as expected. Be sure to measure your area and get enough. I needed a few more than expected because I didn't measure.
