Super support, super comfort.
I have been wearing these firm compression knee highs for almost 20 years now. Usually don't leave home without them. The only time I may consider NOT wearing them is when the dewpoint is over 65 as I find that the severely elevated humidity makes my legs so very swollen that the stockings become very uncomfortable. Although, at that Dewpoint, I usually want to strip off my regular clothes the moment I get into my house. Often times, I will just put them on and take them off as the day goes on (I carry a pair of foot socks so that I don't have bare feet in my shoes).Dewpoint issues not withstanding, I really appreciate these stockings as they do prevent my legs from aching, especially during a long day of standing on my feet.

Exactly what we needed
My husband is getting ready to have surgery and he's having problems with his legs swelling. He has purchased several pair of compression socks, but the tightness makes his toes cramp and hurt. These are perfect because they don't cover the toe area and although they are tight around the legs, they aren't so tight they make him uncomfortable. Really good purchase for what he needed.

Works pretty well
I like the FUTURO Knee Length Stocking Open Toe/Heel Firm. I thought I would try this pair, because I really need a closed heel. The primary point where my feet swell is beside the open heel, so my feet puff out where the heel is open. I wear a size Large in the Futuro open heel, so I bought a Large in this pair, the closed heel. These were thinner and harder to put on, but you want the socks to be tight or they won't work. I would rate them as 20-30 compression. The L are long, coming above my knee. I roll the top over about 2-3 inches. The foot part is also plenty long covering by little toe I am 5'11" and wear size 11 shoe. Expect to take several minutes to put these on. If you get them on and adjust the gathering, they are comfortable.

Very comfortable support.
I've suffered from lower leg edema for some time and avoided the support stockings for not being manly. Hogwash! After some convincing, I gave them a try and found their support most convincing. Needing more, I bought a pair of these Futuro and find them to be the most comfortable of all my stockings - I forget that I am even wearing them. I will be buying at least one more, soon. Recommended.

Various configurations last awhile
The Futuro brand of support knee highs comes in various configurations. They don’t seem to get runs as quickly either. The only downsize is that, if you buy pairs at different times of the year, there can be a significant color variation in the product from season to season.

Not worth the price
Stocking developed runs in it the first time I wore it. I have the heelless ones and the are MUCH better quality. NOT worth the price for one use. Buy elsewhere or at least the heelless ones that are MUCH BETTER made.

So wanted these to work.............
I have worn Jobst opaque knee high stockings for years but as I'm getting older my toes are getting more and more squashed by them. I wear size large petite. I am 15" between floor and crook of knee and 18" round calf. I bought size large in these to try the open toe - the great price compared to Jobst attracted me to try! I love the open toe aspect. The stocking feels like a Jobst relief stocking, thicker and more matt than the shiny opaque. This stocking was about an inch too long and bunched up around the back of my knee, if I put the heel on my heel, this of course made the foot part longer so only my 3 longest toes stuck out. If only they had a petite version I'd be happy to wear these, especially in winter.
