Does this fit inside a normal shower cubicle drain?

I have two standard size shower drains and this works well with them both. Rather than fitting inside, it fits over the top of the drain, standing slightly proud. This allows the water to drain through trapped hair. I find they work well and look much better than any other types I've seen. A bit pricey but worth it in my opinion.

My shower cubicle drain hole is 38mm. Will this fit?

It should do, it does say it will fit any drain. I am really pleased with it, we have a shower bath & it's perfect, looks nice & really does catch all the hair ! If you scroll along the pictures they do give details of the measurements so that you can double check it will fit.

Would this work on the click and clack plug? (the one you have to physically push the plug)

Think so, you'd just have to move it every time you opened or closed the plug. Thanks.

My shower cap is i inch in height and Diameter is 3 inches will this fit please and it has prongs on the base of existing cap.

I am afraid it won't fit. The TubFlo cage has 2.5in inner diameter and a bit more than 0.5in height.
