Great for an easy workout. Good quality and value for money.

I’m very pleased with this Pilates bar set. This is the first set of its kind that I have bought. I have been using the 30lb bands on alternate days with the bar to do Pilates. I’m only 150 cm tall and I have found the resistance adequate for a beginner. So far the bands have lasted and I haven’t had any mishaps. I like the little A3 posters with the exercise options. I’m also following instructional videos by other content creators on YouTube. I bought the set during the Black Friday sale and I’m very happy with my purchase.

The item seems very sturdy and good quality. Upon receiving my items though the box looked liked it had previously been opened and resealed, then when placing the bar pieces together i noticed there was brownish colour marks all over the bar.. doesnt affect the use but now im not certain if this hasnt been used before.

Exactly what I needed to enhance my home workouts adding more resistance! and the colour is very cute, it also brings a sheet with exercises. I love it :) I wasnt very eager to go to the gym as its a bit far, but with this starting is way easier!

First of all, you may want to check the product’s videos to see that even the models in the videos are not tall enough—where the stretch of these bands would make any difference to the exercises they’re doing (if you use the attachments). It’s not good with that in mind. I should’ve checked them before ordering. I won’t go into not attaching it to your door or pulling things indoors... You only have to check social media for bands like these snapping into faces to have a laugh and think twice. I’ll stick to my continuous loop, natural latex ones, that I can pull to my hearts content—as long as I make sure the fibres are heated by stretching them along (till they stretch freely) before actually going into exercising with them! Otherwise they will snap, especially if used in the cold. This set is 100% overpriced for what you get. Wouldn’t have been as bad if the loops weren’t hollowed? Nope, it’ll still be too expensive for what it is. Now it’s not all bad. If I was using just the bands without the bar and attachment. Holding the ends for example to just pull across in a pec fly, doubling the bands, and just holding onto the end, Go slow both ways and it’s a workout! Which has taken me from reading it the 1/5 I was feeling. It may also work—if you were tall enough, to do squats with it on the bar behind you. Otherwise I’ll have to use it in a way that it wasn’t designed to be used, perhaps, bicep curls, overhead, tricep press, etc, so it’s not totally useless. If the price wasn’t so silly, this would easily be 4/5. But I wouldn’t have been happy if I’d paid £55, so a neutral rating (3.2/5)
