You could seriously hurt somebody with this thing.... it's REALLY heavy. But we knew that. The area for the liquid is surprisingly small. I'm going to test it ASAP. But the opening is like 4" deep. And pretty wide. That was a surprise. I was expecting a longer, narrower area inside. Whatever. As long as it holds a beer I'm good. It's extremely sturdy and well-made. Still too expensive. Even though this was the cheapest I could find.

Really good quality and great weight. Got the 18lbs and plenty heavy. My favorite thing is to ask new house visitors if they can pass me my cup.

I've wanted one for some time. Now that I have it, it's both ridiculous and awesome. Feels heavier than 22lbs. Lots of fun to have. Totally worth the cost, to me.

I bought the 22 pounds 14 ounce version. However, it's too heavy to be remotely practical. Even if you think curling nearly 23 pounds is easy, which is the weight of this with liquid, it's effectively much harder to use because of where the center of gravity is. Also, you don't want to spill, which makes it much harder than an equivalent dumbbell.That said, it looks and feels like a quality product. Made in China btw. It arrived safely and well packaged.

This is a great gift

This item is obviously made of high-quality stainless streel which feels very durable. I am also happy with the weight, and I feel like that part of the description is accurate. However, it can only hold up to 8oz of liquid and is not at all good for coffee, contrary to its advertising. The liquid portion absolutely does not retain heat, and my coffee was cold within 5 minutes of being poured. That being said, I'm generally pleased with this item, but I do wish it would keep my coffee warm. Is it worth the money? Well, that's up to the buyer because if you knowingly pay the price for this item, then you probably aren't planning to use it solely as a coffee mug. At the very least, it's a fantastic conversation starter! For me, it's a one-time buy, but I wouldn't recommend against it, either. I feel like it's a nice mix between novelty and practical.
