Vital Farm Pasture-Raised Eggs Worth the Luxury Price for Taste & Nutrition
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been purchasing Vital Farms Pasture-Raised Grade A Large Eggs for a several years now, and I’m truly impressed with the quality. The eggs are organic and free from antibiotics, synthetic hormones, pesticides, and GMOs, which makes them a healthier choice for me and my family. What’s great about Vital Farms is that they offer both organic and pasture-raised eggs. The key difference is the supplemental feed: the organic eggs come from hens fed USDA Certified Organic feed, while the pasture-raised eggs are fed a carefully formulated, non-organic supplemental feed. However, both options are pasture-raised and Certified Humane, ensuring the hens are treated well and have plenty of space to roam. These eggs are rich in nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and antioxidants, and they taste incredible. The flavor is noticeably better than regular eggs, with a richer, fresher taste that elevates any dish I make. I highly recommend Vital Farms Pasture-Raised Grade A Large Eggs to anyone looking for high-quality, nutritious, and delicious eggs.

Excellent eggs!
These eggs are the best. Deep orange yolks instead of the pale yellow yolks from the factory chickens. You can taste how healthy these eggs are. They are more expensive but knowing the chickens are not kept in tiny 1 ft. square cages or are in giant cramped hen houses with thousands of other chickens, but are free to roam in the pastures makes the extra cost worth it. The one bad thing is they are in such high demand that when they come in they are bought up very quick. My solution is to buy several dozen at a time and oil them (look it up on YouTube). Try these at least once.

High Quality Eggs
The egg pricing drama continues in March of 2025. These eggs were pricy, but the quality is outstanding. The taste is richer than mass-produced commercial eggs. This is closer to the farm free-range type of eating experience. We don't eat a large amount of eggs, so for a couple these can make sense to use for baking or occasionally eating as a fried or scrambled option. They were extremely fresh, and the size is generous for "large" eggs.

I always buy their Organic Pasture Raised eggs; this was an accident but delicious nonetheless!
I only buy Pasture Raised eggs but usually their Organic ones with the light brown top. Vital Farms is my favorite non local brand of Organic Pasture Raised eggs but I accidentally bought these (black top) that are Pasture Raised but not Organic. 😬I buy a lot of eggs for my dog but he only eats the Organic Pasture Raised eggs so I ended up eating this carton by myself. I immediately ordered another carton but their Organic ones because he can’t eat these. Out of curiosity, I did a side by side taste test comparison. They are both Pasture Raised nonetheless so I didn’t really expect a difference in taste at least not one I could determine and I was correct. They taste identical, looked identical as far as yoke color etc, and really the only difference is they come in different colored cartons. Also that the black carton is not Organic vs the light brown top that is.My dog has only ever had the Organic, Pasture Raised ones but he completely devours them!! He absolutely LOVES these eggs more than his Answers Duck eggs. With other locally sourced Organic Pasture Raised eggs he would only eat the yolks and leave ALL of the “whites”.Only with Vital Farm will he eat the entire egg minus shells unless I grind them up very finely into a powder. I do not know why and I have tried every Organic Pasture Raised Chicken eggs I can get my hands on and he will only eat yokes except there is something about Vital Farms eggs that are different for him? These eggs are cheaper than many of the others I have bought him too. In some cases Vital Farms is almost 1/2 the price of his other eggs but nope! Just the yokes so now I only buy Vital Farms for his Chicken eggs.Great packaging, great taste and wonderful orange yolks! These are great eggs and for the quality they are definitely at a great price point!

These eggs make me want to raise chickens... not really but then why not?
These are the best eggs on the U.S. market, and that's coming from a pâtissier who has tried many brands. I keep and go through tons of eggs of different colors, sizes, quality and manufacturers for my baking endeavors. I also love eggs for breakfast, so trust me when I tell you - once you give these pricey eggs a try, you will not want to eat any other eggs, even if they are organic. There is no aftertaste like with some eggs. If you like boiled or scrambled eggs where quality or the lack of it stands out, then I would recommend these or any other Vital Farms eggs. If you need eggs for baking (if you can afford these), then go for it. If you are baking something delicate, then splurge. For all other simpler baking recipes, you can use something more affordable. Treat yourself at least once, and get these outstanding, delicious eggs for your next breakfast. Have them with your favorite cup of coffee or tea, or orange juice on a Sunday morning and tell yourself "I absolutely deserve it!"

Rich
Great color. Tasty. Rich. Fresh. Hope the allegations aren’t true. I believe PETA dropped all charges with no settlement money so we’re back in on vital farms
