Now I just got mine so I can’t speak to its life span or issues that may come up but I’m thoroughly impressed! I got mine yesterday and immediately set it up which is super easy, directions are common sensical and once turned on it was fun to play around with. Once you figure out the app (highly, highly recommend getting the free app) I was able to create specific and custom settings for daily use! You can program it which a schedule, I haven’t because I’m unsure if or when I want to change its settings but it does offer that as an option. I have two double coated dogs, both Aussies who always pant even when I’m freezing and they prefer to sleep in front of the fan. I made two custom settings, one for when they’re playing and another for bed time. I can manipulate and save the direction the fan blows both side to side and up and down. I haven’t figured out how to save air speed but I can always adjust as needed. As I said I have a setting for when we’re sleeping so it automatically changes the direction and oscillation once I select my saved settings, so it’s always covering the dogs. It’s really an awesome fan for those reasons not to mention the light can be dimmed or brightened and color change including frequency or movement of the light itself. The breathing feature for the light is relaxing and not too much at its slowest setting. And the air flow is very powerful! The first three fan speeds are so quiet it’s hard to hear but once bumped up it does get louder but it’s nothing like a traditional fan and it really moves air! My greatest complaint with ac is that the freezing cold air stays stagnant in spots, I have lupus and can’t stand being cold so I like that this fan can not only be programmed to work with my ac or with ambient temperature but it pushes air in damn near any direction and doesn’t allow the cold ac air to stay stagnant. I could see this being really beneficial if you’re redoing wood floors or painting walls because it has so many options for oscillating. You can custom pick how many degrees it turns up/down and side to side. I like that I can change its settings when I’m not home incase it’s too hot for the dogs

This is the second Dreo fan I bought in a month. I bought one for the living room first. I fell in love with the power and quietness of that fan, so when I saw this one with a light, I bought it for my bedroom. I have the benefit of a fan circulatng the air in the room and the light acts as a nightlight for when I have to get up in the middle of the night or when I wake up and it's still dark, but I need just enough light to grab my robe to let the dog outside to go potty.It is so nice to have multiple ways of controlling the fan. The fan itself has controls, a remote, and an app, and it can be controlled with your Alexa device. I have so many things controlled by my Alexa device. I swear, my house is smarter than I am at this point.The fan does the traditional oscillation, going side to side, but can also oscillate up and down. I had no idea that was a thing or how much it helped circulate the air. Every fan has multiple speeds, but this fan has multiple types of air flow. I love the natural setting. It is like going from a light breeze to a slightly stronger one. I also appreciate the scheduling feature. You can schedule your fan to turn on or off at specific times or days.I live in an area that has some pretty hot summers, and this helps reduce the stress on my air conditioner while being super quiet. I have yet to get this fan past speed 3. It does wonders, and I look forward to many summers with this fan. The price may seem high to some, but it is so worth it, and if it lasts longer than one summer, it is better than all the other fans I've bought in the past.

Best fan I have ever owned. Very quiet, very pretty - the only fan I saw that I thought I could leave in the middle of my living room, and it has turned out to look as good as I had hoped - we've gotten compliments. The remote control is very handy since it lets me precisely set both the vertical and horizontal positioning of the fan which is very useful if you are trying to cool specific areas. My previous floor fan didn't angle down far enough to dry carpet when necessary after cleaning a spill, but this one does it perfectly. Also, Dreo gave me the best customer service i have had in a long time. I requested an additional remote since I know that my kids are going to lose the original that came with the product, so I emailed customer support and received a same-day reply. And after emailing them back a picture of the remote and my order confirmation from Amazon, i just received confirmation that they are sending me another remote and the tracking number - all done within 24 hours. You don't receive customer service like that much these days. I don't know if Tracy (Hesung) at Dreo support is representative of all of their customer service people or not, but she was fantastic - i hope she gets some recognition from this review. I think this fan is a great purchase! I first purchased a tower fan here on Amazon but a different brand and also cheaper than this. That order was taking way too long to ship so I canceled it and wanted something to come within the next day and purchased this on and wow I don’t regret spending a bit more. It has a light sound which gives a nice background white noise. I love the lights and the three settings you can change it to. It is pretty powerful! And once you have the fan on a 90 degree angle you feel the air circulating. Easy to put together just one screw on the base and you’re good to go! I also love how you can just move the fan any way you want on your phone app. The design is modern and has a clean look. I am looking forward on using this fan for those nasty warm days. Definitely going to put it to the test and see if I don’t have to use my AC as much. This fan is well recommended.
