Thus battery was a perfect fit for my older laptop.
This battery fits this Sony laptop I have, jut took off the dead old one.. put in the new one. Charged it for a few hours and was ready to go. Gret price also.

Maybe 45 minutes work time before having to plug back in.
Since I installed this battery it has never lasted more than 45 minutes without having to plug the laptop back in. The last time I used my laptop the battery indicated I had 1hr 9 minutes left of work time. Two minutes later it showed low battery and before I could get it plugged it the laptop shutdown. I can't recommend this battery.
