Not very bright in both senses. Purchased late September 2025. The backlight goes out after a few seconds even when on mains power with batteries installed. But if you remove the batteries the light stays on! Logic a bit wrong there. The batteries are supposed to be for backup if the power goes off but it's unusable with batteries installed. The backlight isn't very bright anyway and it's difficult to see the display in even fairly dim daylight. I couldn't get it to set the time from the atomic clock signal. It gave up trying after a few seconds so I had to set the time manually.. Update November '25, a month after purchase, the outdoor sensor display flashes 99% all the time even when it's dry & sunny. Not the greatest bit of kit. Update November 2025: The outdoor sensor continually reported 99% humidity regardless of actual weather conditions and the main display wouldn't work if batteries were installed. Contacted Vevor support who, after much prevarication sent a replacement. The sensor was OK but I couldn't set the display because the down arrow didn't work. This product has serious failings in quality control.

My husband & I bought one for our house. We liked it so much, we bought multiple of them as gifts for family. Easy to read. Its sleek & doesn't take up much room. It's very accurate.

This has preformed well so far. The battery option and plug is a good option, along with the 3 lighting settings for when it's plugged in. I mounted the clock on our kitchen wall with mounting tape. Temperature details both inside/outside seems to be accurate. The large display is nice and well colored and easy to read. Very easy to setup. Reason for 4 stars, the clock display and date is very small. The weather animations don't necessarily relate to real-time weather. I'm not sure when the animation updates and relates to the future or past weather. It does work (sunny...cloudy...rain...etc). Just don't use it for for current precipitation. Overall very satisfied with this product!
