Easy to use and store
I am an over the road truck driver and decided to give this a try . I love it ! No more nasty truck stop coffee , no more huge coffee pot in the truck . I find myself using this while I'm on hometime as well . I have not had an issue with a plastic aftertaste and find that my coffee stays hot , but I do pour it into another mug when I'm done brewing . It seems to be pretty durable and it's super easy to use and clean . I like the fact that it's small enough to store without taking up a lot of space . I will be purchasing another one for a backup .

Perfect
So at first I wrote a bad review and am editing that. It was leaking but realized that there was a rubber ring that went inside the top mouth part. I thought it was extra for something else. I added that and it stopped leaking. So user error. This is perfect for me. It is easy to clean and keep my coffee warm long enough. If you are one of those people that like your coffee scalding, you probably drink it fast enough for it to be hot. I am a sipper. It is light enough to throw in my suitcase to avoid bad hotel coffee when traveling. I also think it will be great for camping.

Good portable coffee
The office I work in has had a broken coffee maker for over a month. I had enough of not having coffee, so decided to try this out. It works great. I used Starbucks Breakfast Blend (I used about 2.5 T) with about 1 cup of water. This made a great cup of coffee that was nice and strong.Clean up is a little messy in my opinion. The wet grounds can be hard to get out. I didn't want to rinse the grounds down the sink so it took some time to clean out. However, I don't think this is a flaw of this model - assuming a lot of these types of coffee makers would have this issue.Still, excellent coffee maker. My co-workers can have their coffee withdrawals while I enjoy a great cup.

Heres how to make a Superb Cup
After reviewing all the options , i decided to stick to my simple French Press . It takes less prep time and gets a supreme tasting brewHeres my setup :1.Add coffee to french press : Full large 3 oz measuring cup that comes with coffee2.Heat your water to boil3.Pour in water to french press : stir coffee from top with butter knife till it is frothy ...10 secs4.Let sit for 3 minutes : key detail - coffee grams have to disperse5.Put filter in and press down . ( Your Done ) .Beats Star Bucks any day .

I thought that bottle is steel in the inside. It is very light and I like thet but looks like not durable.

Not even kidding.
I bought this for a backpacking trip. I don't do instant coffee, didn't want to haul a bulky perk set, so this looked like the perfect solution. Before I took said trip I tried this press at home. I used my Trangia stove and titanium mug to heat the water for a practice run. That was a couple weeks ago. I'm still using this press every day instead of my Keurig which I now only use to heat the water! This is the first french press I've ever used and I can not kick myself hard enough for not owning one over the years. There's just no comparison. You experienced pressers know. Does it take a bit longer - yes. Is it worth it! YES. Best. Coffee. Ever.Still planning to take it into the wild. It's solid. I was hesitant at first because it is plastic but I've put it through the paces here at home. No doubt it will last a good long time. I may order a back up, not because I'm scared it will break, but for the fear of losing it!Anyone looking to buy used Keurig?
