Seller performed as promised!
The book was out of print. I was sooo happy to find one in such good condition! It is invaluable to a first grade teacher.

Great asset
I'm brand new to teaching and had heard much about this book. It is a true asset when it comes to phonics and to showing that words come from individual sounds that can be shuffled around to make new words. I totally recommend it.

This one is the best!
I own a number of Patricia Cunningham's books. I use many of her techniques. But this book is the best of the "Making Words" series for teachers who want a 'systematic sequential' plan. Other Making Words books seem to be for better spellers. My students needed the careful pacing, beginning with predominately short vowels, that is found in this book. This is the book I use every day!

Can't go wrong with this one!
This is my favorite way to teach Phonics. My students (after using this for three weeks) have begun to segment on their own. They are able to isolate individual sounds and then blend to find the word.

Sequential Phonics book was in great condition
The book was used but it was in excellant condition. The book was shipped fast and arrived as expected. Since it will be my backup book for my work with first graders, good condition is imperative!

An oldie but a goodie!
This is a great book for easy phonics lessons in a progression. Fits nicely as a supplement to any reading curriculum. Easily and quickly taught but does require some prep work.
